In randomness, I was asking to myself why some people even use external keyboard when they have a laptop with seemingly functional keyboard. I too actually got this question a lot when I used my external keyboard to type rather than my laptop internal keyboard. My keyboard wasn’t really functional, so I had to use an external keyboard rather than fixing it which would cost similar to low-end mechanical keyboard. But for some reason, rather than going to the repair place and wait for a day or two to get the laptop fixed, I got a portable keyboard from Logitech on their series combo which features MK240. I brought it traveling for a while and it was pretty durable. But way before that, I also got Gamen GK 100 which was a lot cheaper but has nice aesthetic. I have to say that gaming with the keyboard feels a lot better than using Logitech or the internal keyboard.

Then, there was a keyboard I got a long time ago, it was from Mikuso. The keyboard was $5 keyboard that I got so that I can use it on my laptop. I like the size of it that was small and fits a female handbag. However, compared to Logitech it was far inferior and somehow, I ended up not using them. Mikuso doesn’t really have adjustable back and it’s pretty small. So, if you have bigger hands, typing using this keyboard would be quite a challenge. It’s also noisy too but that’s what I like about it. The tuts are soft as well which makes typing a lot more fun compared to Gamen. But again, these three keyboards have different purpose and sizes too.

I was thinking of just giving one away but I’ll never know if one day they would become quite handy. Though ideally having one or two are enough when it comes to computer peripherals. Especially like before where I bought rollable silicone keyboard in the middle of nowhere because I needed to use my laptop. In Hindsight, it should have been better to fix the internal keyboard altogether. So, what do you think,how many is too many?
