Fantech, Often Mistaken as Chinese Brand

Fantech is an Indonesian brand catering to gamers. While their line also focuses on regular consumers, their specialty is in the gaming industry. While it seems like they’re often mistaken as a Chinese company, they are actually an Indonesian brand that has gone worldwide. They even sell their line on Amazon and are pretty popular across South East Asia. They also sponsored E-sport teams across SEA. In their home country, they have a few big competitors but among their competitors, Fantech has a few distinctive advantages compared to its competitors.

Anyhow, today I’ll be reviewing their gaming wireless mouse, WG10 Raigor. While it’s not necessarily the cheapest from their brand when compared to their high-end line, Raigor is the cheapest of them all. It is priced 73.000 from their original 130,000 IDR. This mouse has the “gaming” aesthetic to it as well as promising features such as super power save sensor and adjustable DPI. They have been on the market for more than 4 years which explains the drop of the price.

Raigor WG10, Is It still worth it in 2024?

macproperty(45).png

Raigor came out 4 years ago and it’s marketed as plug and play. It doesn’t have any driver as of now and since it has been 4 years, Fantech releases similar models under different series. If you’re seasoned gamers or someone who wants to have the gaming aesthetic on a budget, I personally think Raigor WG10 is still worth it. For the price offered today, this mouse works smoothly and offers features that other gaming line up won’t. Think of it as buying this on sale. Although unfortunately, while they have the DPI button on the mouse, we can’t exactly know which DPI the mouse is on unless you are doing extra testing to the mouse.

In 2024, while many brands, even Fantech, released new models with even more features, this series is still worth it. They simply work and if you're a seasoned gamer with mid-lower end budget, this could be your option. For the quality it offered, it works for turn- based games but if you play FPS, there are better lines and I personally would suggest spending a bit more.

The look!

macproperty(46).png

Raigor Wg10 comes in a premium box. It feels like getting expensive accessories. They also come with manuals and warranty cards for a year. They have a 6 keys map that also has a mid and right button. It has the ‘gaming’ look and feels to it. While you’re outside, the aesthetic makes it quite stand out with its iconic wings logo.

macproperty(48).png

I have to say, I didn't expect that Fantech would actually look this expensive. Their box is better than their competitors like gamen and robot. While it’s hard to compare every of their accessories line, this mouse compared to other gaming mice from Robot definitely wins over. Not to mention, this product is also a lot more accessible for consumers overseas which means they actually have the quality to go worldwide.

My Verdict!

Again, if you’re looking for a reasonable gaming mouse, this one does the job. It has the look and features that you might need. While it came out 4 years ago, it is still relevant today and still worth buying considering the price drop as well. Get this one if you’re on the market for a new mouse!

I have never used a wireless mouse, but I am always curious to know how comfortable they can be and as you mention, there are many options in the market, but this does not seem like a bad idea, even made me want to buy it to try it.

Thank you very much for sharing your opinion about this mouse, I send you a hug.

They can be pretty convenient but also, if you're on PC, I think wired mouse is better. Thanks for checking out and reading it :)

Wow, I love the model, it looks spectacular.

I'm not a gamer, but personally I think that people who are dedicated to do so must have the tools to be comfortable and good results each.one of the games, definitely this mouse looks to be of very good quality.

I like the design of the mouse, the design of the case I also like, it is the style of design that I usually look for, as I am not a big fan of the led lights theme. It seems to me a good option to play, especially if you can take advantage of the price for the time it has been on the market. It does not necessarily have to buy a mouse of this year, to give us a good gaming experience.

I think RGB looks pretty tacky and I would avoid them. In the past, I wanted all-things RGB but not anymore.

It does not necessarily have to buy a mouse of this year, to give us a good gaming experience.

So true! sometimes you just need a device that works esp if you also get them cheap and still relevant.

That's a sleek-looking mouse. It kind of reminds me of the Razers, which can be very expensive. That's cool that it's from a local Indonesian company too.

Honestly, I think they mimic Razer but low budget😂 and mid-ranged gamers. They support many esport teams so I mean, they're legit but when you compare to Razer, it's definitely day & night.

It sounds like a popular company in the gaming community. I have a Steelseries mouse as backup and it seems to have a somewhat similar form factor. The clicking feel is very nice.

I have never heard of this brand but from what you comment and the quality they offer they must be pretty good for the price.

By the way I really like the design is quite minimalist but at the same time looks very very comfortable.
