Fantech Atom Mizu After A Month Use

When you love exploring new products and brands, sometimes you're bound to get disappointed. Sometimes, it feels like you're just throwing money away on items that weren't worth it.

Many reviews highlight products when they're first released but rarely show how well they hold up a month or two later. In fact, even within a week of use, you can often get a good sense of a product's durability. This is what more reviews fail to talk about.

Recently, I have been pleasantly surprised by the products made in China. They seem to have really stepped up their game, moving away from their old reputation of producing cheap and easily broken items.

Although I haven't followed much of the progression of how things are made these days, I can safely say that among some brands I've tested, some of them are durable and made to last, just like the mechanical keyboard that I am currently using, a Mizu 63% series from Atom from Fantech, which really impressed me with its quality.

Fantech is an Indonesian company, but its products are manufactured in China. It is a pretty well-recognized brand in Southeast Asia, where many people use its products. Targeting tech enthusiasts and gamers in the lower to middle-end market, it has successfully built a strong brand presence. While it has some competitors, its quality control sets it apart from the rest of the market.

After a month of use, this keyboard has been giving me some of the best typing experience there is. It helps me improve my WPM speed and type faster than the regular keyboard. I have to say that the critical distance was so well thought out that it was easier to type. In fact, when I switched to my laptop's keyboard, I noticed quite a slowdown in my typing speed.

At the same time, unlike the previous keyboard I used to have, the words aren't disappearing. They stick so damn fine that it wasn't a regretful experience buying this piece of keyboard that improves the way I type. Since I spend most of my days typing, it makes a huge difference knowing that I don't have to remember the alphabet on the keyboard.

The keys are also soft and produce sounds pleasing to the ears. Think about typing ASMR tier sound. At the same time, people don't get annoyed when I type on my keyboard, especially when I am on a call learning languages with keyboard typing in the background.

That being said, now I can truly give Fantech my seal of approval. They are durable, affordable, and worth the money.

Ohh that's why it's familiar (and I knew I own one but I don't remember what) my Kitty ears extension on my headset and my headset stand is a Fantech haha. Those are really good quality despite being inexpensive and in fact I'm still using them. :D I haven't used their electronics but there are a lot of sellers of that brand here as well so it's quite popular. :D

Chinese brands are killing it lately. From electronic brands to makeup... sure there are still cheap ones that produce knockoffs but I'm glad they are getting known internationally and we don't have to pay premium prices for those. I don't think all of their products are bad, but it's maybe 80% of the products we know from China are not durable because we buy the cheap ones haha.

Ooh! Great to know their headset stand is durable. It's on my list lately but I was fairly skeptical. Thank you for assuring me it works and durable hehe.

I think the premium Chinese brands are doing great these days and worth buying. I've tried some Chinese make up as well and the quality was pretty surprising to me. So, I guess, they're really stepping up their game.

Why not? I mean mechanical keyboards are fun and customizable. It's really fun to be able to change the switch and the sound.

You are very right, sometimes we think that economic products are of low quality, but many times they surprise us. I agree with you, here in Venezuela there are many products of Chinese manufacture and certainly have improved a lot, I have Chinese products and they are still working. I love that keyboard you show and I am glad to know that you have done very well and I am also happy with the improvement you have had in your performance. Cheers and long may it continue to work for quite some time.

I think Chinese are expanding their business to Latin American a lot and it's why I see products like Oraimo and such. It's interesting that they're durable and isn't quite what we used to remember growing up. For me, I was definitely pleasantly surprised of it all.

I agree, early reviews don't always give us the full picture of a product. It takes time to really know how good and durable something is. There are plenty of things made in China that are great quality, but you really have to find those reviews that talk about a complete user experience to give you the confidence to buy.

I like the colorful design of the keyboard, and the RGB lighting isn't too over the top. That's a plus. And the fact that you were able to increase your words per minute speaks well about the product. Personally, though, I have trouble adjusting to keyboards without a number pad because I use it a lot.

Right? sometimes review is more like unboxing and just a way for us to know what's in the box. These days I try to be less skeptical of Chinese made products.

I honestly don't like the RGB and thankfully we can turn it off. I don't use number pad as much as I'd like and so that's why I get the 63%
