Copilot AI: Seamless integration on windows 11
Should You Say Goodbye to ChatGPT?
「 Copilot From Microsoft 」
Microsoft recently rolled out Copilot for Windows 11 users. According to the AI itself, it is a feature on Windows that uses an AI model generated by GitHub, OpenAI, and Microsoft. For Windows users, the Copilot preview is available on the taskbar and can be accessed as it was Cortana. There are pros and cons of this preview of Copilot, which I will discuss in today’s blog. I am not sure if everyone has an access to this already but mine does and it's pretty amazing. Apparently it has rollout around 6 days now. If you have the latest windows 11, it's time doing an upgrade to check it out!
With Copilot available for Windows 11 users, it’s a huge step towards mass adoption of AI. Now everyone doesn’t have to go to a browser just to log in to ChatGPT. It’s now available in one click and is capable of similar tasks as ChatGPT, except it has a few integrated features such as troubleshooting, setting the volume, changing wallpaper, and even launching apps. I have to say that this is quite an ambitious work by them.
I am amazed by its capabilities that it can even create an image powered by DALL-E as well as writing code using Python, Java, C#, and more. Certainly the coding part needs quite a review, but as a tool that can help with learning, it’s simply amazing.
For example, the picture below is created by Copilot AI and you can even refine the image on it too by adding some more specifications to the prompt. From the results I got so far, I am fairly satisfied and amazed.
Now, even if you’re not so tech-savvy, as long as you have the recent Windows 11, you can get access to this tool! Although when it comes to images, since they’re tied to Bing search, it’s very slow and isn’t of good quality.
Now, compared to ChatGPT, this has more use for everyday Windows users as it works similar to Cortana and even more. You can also browse quickly without having to open a browser. As the world becomes more automated, Copilot AI is definitely trying to be at the forefront of mass adoption. Since it’s connected to Bing, it certainly knows the up-to-date data set from 2023. Another intriguing part of it is that you can use it to find people as again, it’s connected to a search engine. I also read that they’re trying to integrate AI into their Microsoft suite which will be a huge step as you don’t have to use google docs to properly check basic grammar and spelling. Copilot AI can do it all!
Since it’s a tool that almost knows-it-all, are we expecting the future to dumb down and heavily rely on AI assistants such as Copilot?
And one thing for sure, AI is here to stay as well as facial recognition. I am not stoked about any of it but it’s there and is slowly gaining mass adaption too.

Copilot AI, the AI that knows it all, hmmm 🤔 this sounds interesting but it appears the future is in danger here. Truth is, We can not push this AI away, it is of good help to us, assisting us in one way or the other.
One good thing is, this AI is been made man and it will always require the human's decision and oversight. It is true AI is a threat to so many jobs now but AI can not operate on its own, it needs our command to perform some certain task. So to be on a safer side is to know the in's and out of this AI, there are jobs openings that will require you must be a chatgpt expert, so there's every need to master this AI. However, saying whether the future will be dump or not is a thing not to whisper now because no be knows tomorrow but all I know is that since this AI knows it all but cannot operates on its own, we use it to our advantage to get what we want.
There's definitely a new job called Prompt engineer and they mostly work on optimization of AI generated text. But AI text is just a tiny fraction of what AI can do.
What you on about? Saying Goodbye? Heck I haven't even said hello yet😅😅😅
Haha technically OpenAI has been around for quite a while and I got to it when it was still Beta and invite only. If you're on windows 11 the newest update, you should see it soon :D
Copilot, as you explained, seems to be a step further in world of AI. More sophisticated and more skilled.
With advancement in every kind of technology there are always voices of humanity in danger. The truth is that no-one can put mankind in danger unless mankind wants it to happen.
AI appears to take several tasks men used to do before, so we think it will snatch our jobs. The question is hasn't the technology replaced man power before but humans find other new things to perform.
The purpose of AI is to assist us and make us more productive. It is up to us if we wanna fall the victim of laziness and be dependent on AI totally, or we opt to assist us in honing our own skills.
I am definitely looking forward how things play out. Since now, everything is almost automated except a few jobs like manual labors. Maybe trade skills would be a valuable skill in the future.
Windows 11 itself is a threat to privacy.
Just look it up:
Is Windows 11 spying on you? New report details eye-opening levels of telemetry.
How Windows 11 scrapes your data before you’re even connected to the internet.
I can see how that could play out. I am not a fan of windows myself. In fact, it's only my 2nd month using microsoft product again. I am already not convinced with the security and privacy around what I am working. But I made a challenge to myself to learn it since it's also part of my cybersec training.
Very interesting Copilot, I had not heard of it as I still have Windows 10. Let's see, from what you say it has many things better than chat-gpt, we will see if it takes it out of the market or if both compete to offer a better service yet.
It's already on the market for Copilot and looks like only for Windows 11. They're also still region limited too but this one is a lot straight forward than ChatGPT so, there's a huge potential including its capabilities.
Thanks! I had no idea this had happened. Definitely have to look into how to get it setup.
All you have to do is update your windows 11 and they'll be there. I first found it annoying cause it's crowding my taskbar.
Windows 11 is a truly great operating system. I recently went through it myself and I am very pleased. If you are looking for a good offer for this operating system, I recommend this store: https://royalcdkeys.com/products/windows-11-pro-retail-cd-key
