Divergences between anthropocentric intelligence and ecocentric reasoning

Greetings dear readers, in this new issue I wanted to share with all of you, the divergence that exists between the two main positions adopted by modern society in terms of environmental responsibility, in this sense, this manuscript examines the anthropocentric and ecocentric approaches, in the search to illustrate the differences between both positions.

Now then, to give beginning to this interesting theoretical-reflexive confrontation, let us begin by defining anthropocentric intelligence, as the faculty that man possesses to construct realities, starting from the understanding and decision making of determined situations, placing the human being above any thing or living being, while the ecocentric reasoning comes to be the opposite, that is, all logic or consideration in decision making is focused on nature, regardless of the situation presented.

As mentioned at the beginning, the manuscript intends to illustrate the differences between the anthropocentric conception, and the ecocentric thought, with the purpose of exploring the minimum coincidences that allow to develop an intelligence with greater ethical connection, centered in preserving the ecosystems and the species, as much animal as vegetable affected by the modern activities.

Approaches
Anthropocentric intelligence
Ecocentric reasoning
Center of interest
The Man
The Nature
Conception
Transforming under conscious practices
Transforming under balanced practices
Method
Infinite consumption of raw materials as an instrument of survival
Finite and rational consumption of raw materials through control and renewable management

To conclude, it is necessary to emphasize that the central idea of presenting this comparison between both positions, is intended to serve as a teaching resource, in the quest to create greater environmental awareness, strengthen values, respect and constructive links necessary in the interaction of human beings with nature.

Greetings friend @lupafilotaxia. Very important to make this differentiation. With it we can achieve that we make an introspection as far as the impact that our conception of the environment has, and if the way that the humanity has chosen or great part of it is the correct one.

Greetings dear friend @emiliomoron. The simplest idea, and the most complex approaches that we may have of our way of seeing and interpreting the environment, must be evaluated, in the search for finding points of coincidence tending to propose strategies that improve our interaction with natural systems. Thank you for leaving your point of view.
