Climate change and its relation to polar drift

avatar

I will begin this post by extending a cordial greeting to all my friends of @Project.HOPE, entering in theme those who follow my blog will have noticed that I consistently socialize content of reflective connotation on the impacts of Climate Change, essentially on the repeated warnings being made by the scientific community on greenhouse gas emissions and their serious environmental and public health consequences.

If you analyze the thematic position in each of the publications you will find that the warnings that I socialize about the impacts of Climate Change arise from the visible reality and scientific inferences about the negative impacts generated by forest fires and pollution of water bodies, and their direct link with the outcome of abnormal events, namely cyclones, storms, typhoons, arctic melting, floods, droughts, extreme temperatures and loss of biodiversity.

It is no secret that despite the repeated warnings and scientific inferences to combat the climate crisis, for states and power organizations this issue is not an immediate priority, now, this wrong way of seeing the climate crisis is the main problem we have as a species, because by not stopping the negative impacts we generate to the climate, in opposition we are condemning our own existence on the planet.

Perhaps mentioning that we are condemning our own existence on the planet sounds like just another extremist position, however, there is scientific data that demonstrates that our actions have a devastating potential on the very biological and physical functionality of planet earth.

Regarding the physical functionality and negative impacts of the climate crisis on planet earth, it should be emphasized that experts in geophysics belonging to the AGU (American Geophysical Union), state that climate change has had a direct impact on the abnormal displacements that the axis of rotation of the planet earth has been experiencing for decades.

These geophysical deductions project that the climate crisis has modified and will continue to alter the axis of rotation of the planet earth, because, according to experts, climate change generates changes in the distribution of the mass of the planet, and this causes the axis to move, and therefore, also causes the poles to shift.

This pole shift experienced by the planet earth as a result of climate change is directly linked to the polar drift or actual variation in the position of the poles, behavior that throughout history has been related to the changes in mass experienced by the planet as a result of constant loss of ice, and water imbalances resulting from forest fires.

Greetings @lupafilotaxia, no doubt beyond the loss of biodiversity, and the disruption of the planetary balance, this effect is even more serious, because we could not correct if the alteration occurs in large magnitudes. I believe it is the duty of all of us to do our part to fight for real changes at the environmental level. Thank you for this contribution

Greetings friend @madridbg, this expression "all do our part to fight for real changes at the environmental level" is precisely what is so often repeated, but unfortunately no tangible actions are implemented to counteract the effects of the climate crisis, or at least, the proportion of positive actions do not reach to generate real changes. Thank you for your comment.

Theories presented as facts are getting under my skin more than they used to.

Good point @operahoser, certainly facts are more influential when they are supported by deductions of a scientific nature. Thanks for leaving your comment.

Hello friend @lupafilotaxia, I share your opinion and worries about the serious damages that are affecting the planet.

I read your publications because of my interest in this type of topics, as well as with the unsustainability of the activities that are developed, cause of many of the current problems.

It is necessary to continue publishing in this thematic area. Each one of us can contribute a little to find solutions and put them into practice.

Greetings

Greetings @raizayanez, Thank you for these words "It is necessary to continue publishing in this thematic area. Each one of us can contribute a little to find solutions and put them into practice", so I also believe that we lose nothing by insisting, on the contrary great ideas should arise among us. Thank you for your reading.

This type of change is worrisome, since it alters the natural state of our planet and consequently the existence of the planet and its species, including the human species.

Greetings friend @lupafilotaxia and thank you for your contribution.

Greetings @carlos84, it is correct our irresponsibility in environmental material, brings alterations to the planet, unfortunately we do nothing to correct these situations.
