Alchemix has announced the return of all stolen funds

The world of cryptocurrencies beyond all the benefits offered by blockchain technology, like the traditional system is also subject to extortion and disruption of operations by financial hacking practices, an element that to date remains a headache.

Theoretically hacking refers to activities that seek to compromise digital devices such as computers, smartphones, the sad thing is that despite all the blockchain infrastructure, web 3.0 networks are equally or even more vulnerable than conventional structures.

In this sense and for the sake of the cryptocurrency market the company Alchemix recently announced the return of all funds stolen from the Curve pools, for those familiar with this case "The attack took place on July 30 and resulted in the theft of more than USD 61 million in cryptocurrencies, including USD 13.6 million from Alchemix's alETH-ETH pool."

According to Cointelegraph columnist Ana Paula Pereira, "The return of the funds was initiated after the hacker accepted a bounty offer for the bug. Curve, Metronome and Alchemix jointly announced on August 3 an initiative to recover the stolen funds, offering 10% of the seized funds as a reward and urging those responsible for the exploit to return the remaining 90%."

It has been pointed out that the hacker's commitment is to return the money not because they can find it, but so as not to ruin the Alchemix project, which in my view is somewhat malicious.
