Una aventura con pocos pixeles: volviendo al Mario kart DS [ESP - ENG]
Hola comunidad de Geek Zone, es la primera vez que paso por aquí, soy un amante de la tecnología y videojuegos y no pude resistirme a publicar en esta comunidad y expresar lo que pienso respecto a los temas que hablan por aqui.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia que me ha hecho recordar mi infancia y pasar un buen rato. Se trata de jugar Mario kart DS de nintendo en un emulador de DS para mi celular.

Today I want to share with you an experience that has made me remember my childhood and have a good time. It is about playing nintendo Mario kart DS on a DS emulator for my cell phone.
Mario kart DS fue uno de mis juegos favoritos cuando era niño. Tenía mi DS y lo llevaba a todas partes, y me encantaba competir con mis amigos en las diferentes pistas y modos de juego, especialmente el modo de reventar globos era muy divertido. Podía pasar horas usando los caparazones para atacar o defenderme, y ver las animaciones de los personajes cuando ganaban o perdían.
Ahora, gracias a un emulador de DS que encontré en la playstore, puedo volver a jugar este juego en mi celular. El emulador se llama MelonDS y es muy fácil de usar. Solo hay que descargar el archivo ROM del juego y abrirlo con el emulador. El emulador tiene varias opciones de configuración, como ajustar el tamaño y la posición de las pantallas, activar o desactivar el sonido, etc.
Mario kart DS was one of my favorite games as a kid. I had my DS and carried it everywhere, and I loved racing my friends on the different tracks and game modes, especially the balloon popping mode was so much fun. I could spend hours using the shells to attack or defend myself, and watch the animations of the characters when they won or lost.
Now, thanks to a DS emulator I found in the playstore, I can play this game again on my cell phone. The emulator is called MelonDS and it is very easy to use. Just download the ROM file of the game and open it with the emulator. The emulator has several configuration options, such as adjusting the size and position of the screens, enabling or disabling the sound, etc.

Lo único que me ha costado un poco es jugar sin botones físicos y solo en la pantalla táctil. Al principio se me hacía difícil controlar el carrito y usar los objetos, pero con un poco de práctica me he acostumbrado y ahora lo disfruto mucho. Además, el emulador tiene la opción de guardar y cargar el estado del juego en cualquier momento, lo que es muy útil si quiero hacer una pausa o cambiar de juego.
En el poco tiempo que he jugado, he desbloqueado ya dos personajes: Daisy y Dry Bones. Mi favorito es Dry Bones, de niño solía llamarle "huesitos" (no se porque se me ocurrió ese nombre😂), me gusta su diseño y pienso que es el más rápido. También he desbloqueado algunas copas y pistas nuevas, no he podido jugar en el modo online con otros jugadores que tengan el emulador, eso me decepciono un poco pero igual me divierto solo.
The only thing that has cost me a little is playing without physical buttons and only on the touch screen. At first it was difficult to control the cart and use the objects, but with a little practice I got used to it and now I really enjoy it. Also, the emulator has the option to save and load the game state at any time, which is very useful if I want to pause or switch games.
In the short time I've played, I've already unlocked two characters - Daisy and Dry Bones. My favorite is Dry Bones, as a kid I used to call him "huesitos" (I don't know why I came up with that name😂), I like his design and I think he's the fastest. I have also unlocked some new cups and tracks, I have not been able to play in online mode with other players who have the emulator, that disappointed me a little but I still have fun alone.
En definitiva, jugar Mario kart DS de nuevo ha sido una experiencia muy gratificante y divertida. Me ha hecho recordar los buenos momentos que pasé con este juego cuando era niño, y me ha permitido revivirlos con la comodidad de mi celular. Tengo un emulador de varias consolas pero a veces no me corren tan bien los juegos, voy a probar ese, es excelente revivir los viejos tiempos pero son calidadddd, al mil, insuperables 😎😎😎😎
Definitivamente la acción, divertido y desafiante está en lo retro ✌🏻
