When Chat gpt launched most bloggers were scared that they would lose traffic on their blogs and it is obvious. But as a blogger, there are multiple factors that you need to see. Like personalization and creativity that the reader wants. These things we are going to talk about in this blog and how there are some disadvantages of using AI technology so let's start.

AI works based on an algorithm and it gathers data and provides you results. Now the problem is information that AI is taking from the sources may be incorrect. AI is not human and the sources from where AI takes information are written by humans. So now you can understand what I am trying to say here. Now let's come to the plagiarism topic. plagiarism is a problem before AI technology. Now let's understand how you are getting plagiarised content from AI as a blogger. As I said, AI is not human and it is gathering information from human written content.

So let's say if you have searched something then AI will start generating information for you from multiple sources. This will affect the SEO of your content as well as this post will be considered as low quality and plagiarised and it will be easily detected as well. So this is how your written content through AI is plagiarised.

Little to no creativity and it Devalues content

AI can mimic humans and here I want to say that AI is still learning but it is not capable of generating new ideas and creativity like humans do so it can mimic humans but is not creative enough to be exactly like humans. Content creators have the ability to write creative words in their content which will connect their readers emotionally. This is not possible for AI. So in creativity, AI is not capable.

If you have a blog and experimented with this thing then you should know that AI devalues content. Share two posts one is written by you and the second is AI-written. After one month you can see the human-written content will generate more organic traffic than the AI-written content. This shows AI devalues content. If you own a blog on WordPress or any other platform then you can do this experiment at your own risk.

Do you expect common sense behavior from AI? Let's ask chat gpt to write an article on Shakespeare's style it will do for you but it will not write exactly like Shakespeare. The reason behind this is the algorithm and AI identify behavior based on the content that is available on the internet. For example, you have published 50 posts on the internet and If someone requests AI to write an article in your style, it will be created by taking information from your 50 posts. but in reality, you have the ability to change the way you write and style because you have creativity. So yes AI is providing personalization but not absolutely 100%.
