A short story of mine is emptiness.

When emptiness nestles in the heart, even in a crowd of thousands of people, loneliness comes and crowds. Even in the midst of thousands of people, the surrounding seems quiet. The pains buried in the heart eat away. Maybe that's what happened to Nilanjanaor. At first, Nilanjana's days were passing happily. Nilanjana's time was not like that. Nilanjana married Avro out of love. Avro loved Nilanjana a lot. Their days were going well. The two found each other after many obstacles. They got married without family consent. Nilanjana came to know that Avro will never be able to become a father. Nilanjana was completely silent. Avra never let this know. This is how the days went. He gets along well with his office colleagues. After hearing these words, Nilanjana was getting wounded inside. A strange emptiness settled in his mind.

Suddenly one day Nilanjana comes to know that Avro is married. Without informing Nilanjana, he built a new house with that girl. Now there is no need for Nilanjana in Avra's life. Nilanjana finished all the insults and went out to her unknown destination. He doesn't even know where to go. He is alone in this world. He has no contact with his parents. Nilanjana is sitting on a platform of the station to cross to an unknown destination. Nilanjana is feeling very empty in the midst of noise and crowd of thousands of people all around. Maybe this void is the void where the story of life ends. This emptiness is the emptiness of losing love. This emptiness is the emptiness of freeing oneself from the world. Without thinking anything, Nilanjana jumped in front of the moving train. All the emptiness of the heart ends. The moaning of Nilanjana's heart disappeared.
