Hoy a pesar de traerles un #Unboxing quiero compartir mi catarsis tecnológica al pasar por un pequeño problema de conexión a internet donde buscar una salida no terminó siendo la mejor opción.

Today despite bringing you an #Unboxing I want to share my technological catharsis when going through a small internet connection problem where looking for a way out did not end up being the best option.

Hace un par de semanas, más o menos, empezó a fallar la conexión en casa, algo que nos pone los pelos de punta, ya que me limita mucho para compartir en esta maravillosa plataforma de Hive, de hecho no tengo internet propio, donde un buen vecino me lo da por cable, pero empezó a fallar, bueno justo ya tenía casi cinco años je, je, je, a pesar de todo lo intentamos y revivimos unos días usando cuatro de los ocho cables que vienen con él. Viendo la situación mi hijo siempre atento, me sugirió que probara a través de su portátil Canaima una conexión inalámbrica móvil, al probarlo la señal funcionaba y nuestros teléfonos tenían acceso a internet, por supuesto un poco lento, y viendo esto un buen amigo me sugirió que si usaba un router inalámbrico, él tenía uno y todo iba bien y que este iba a funcionar mucho más rápido que con el Canaima.

A couple of weeks ago, more or less, the connection at home began to fail, something that makes our hair stand on end, as it limits me greatly to share on this wonderful platform of Hive, in fact I do not have my own internet, where a good neighbor gives it to me by cable, but it began to fail, well it was just already almost five years old he, he, he, he, he, despite everything we tried and revived a few days by using four of the eight cables that come with it. Seeing the situation my son always attentive, suggested me to try through his Canaima laptop a mobile wireless connection, when testing it the signal worked and our phones had internet access, of course a little slow, and seeing this a good friend suggested me that if I used a wireless router, he had one and everything was going well and that this was going to run much faster than with the Canaima.

En busca de una solución al problema empecé a buscar un router, al ver varios modelos muy potentes con hasta cuatro antenas, tuve que enfocarme y ceñirme a mi presupuesto, encontrando un Mercusys modelo MW302R, aparato que me dio muy buenas recomendaciones ya que puede transmitir una buena señal con un alcance de hasta cincuenta metros, esto me gustó ya que la distancia entre mi casa y donde llega la señal de internet es más o menos esa distancia, tomando esto en cuenta decidí comprarlo a un precio de veintitrés dólares.

In search of a solution to the problem I started looking for a router, when I saw several very powerful models with up to four antennas, I had to focus and stick to my budget, finding a Mercusys model MW302R, a device that gave me very good recommendations as it can transmit a good signal with a range of up to fifty meters, I liked this because the distance between my house and where the internet signal arrives is about that distance, taking this into account I decided to buy it at a price of twenty-three dollars.

Como dije al principio no todo fue color de rosa, ya que no contaba con algunos detalles para que este router funcionara bien, de hecho este equipo funciona muy bien y lo recomiendo, pero como todo en la vida tiene algunas limitaciones, una por ejemplo era que la señal era muy inestable y no veía la razón, Una de las razones de esto es que en la urbanización donde vivo, las casas son de concreto armado, lo que limita el alcance de la señal, algo que no había tomado en cuenta para nada, pero no en la casa de mi amigo. La verdad es que esta situación me frustró de primera mano, pensé que era el equipo que venía defectuoso pero no, ya que lo uso como extensor Wifi conectado por cable y todo va muy bien.

As I said at the beginning not everything was rosy, since I did not have some details for this router to work well, in fact this equipment works very well and I recommend it, but like everything in life has some limitations, one for example was that the signal was very unstable and did not see the reason, One of the reasons for this is that in the urbanization where I live, the houses are made of reinforced concrete, which limits the range of the signal, something that had not taken into account at all, but not in my friend's house. The truth is that this situation frustrated me first hand, I thought it was the equipment that came defective but no, since I use it as a Wifi extender connected by cable and everything goes very well.

Para solucionar el problema amigos tuve que hacer algo que me resistía mucho, comprar cable para la conexión a internet, porque pensé que debido a la distancia la señal bajaría, pero no fue así, gracias a Dios todo volvió a la normalidad, y aunque podríamos pensar que comprar el router no fue una buena idea, yo no lo veo así porque al usarlo como extensor Wifi mi conexión fluye muy bien.

To solve the problem my friends I had to do something that I was very reluctant to do, buy cable for internet connection, because I thought that due to the distance the signal would drop, but not so, thank God everything went back to normal, and although we might think that buying the router was not a good idea, I do not see it that way because when using it as a Wifi extender my connection flows very well.

Bueno amigos espero que mi experiencia les pueda servir de ayuda si se encuentran en un problema similar y así tener en cuenta todos los factores, para llegar a tener una mejor solución. Algo que si quiero decirles es que este router funciona muy bien si necesitan ampliar su señal de internet en casa, siempre teniendo en cuenta su alcance, así como el hecho de que los obstáculos pueden reducir mucho su alcance.
