♻️♻️ Growing mustard and chia seeds in @lmir1965's garden /// Cultivando semillas de mostaza y chia en el jardin de @lmir1965 ♻️♻️
I want to share with you my excitement about the project I have undertaken to achieve food independence in this home. After helping Mrs. @lmir1965 improve her garden, I decided it was time to take control of our own diet and free ourselves from depending exclusively on supermarkets.
Dear friends, as I told you in the previous segment, I was helping Mrs. @lmir1965 improve the areas of her home. After pruning the trees, clearing the stems of the plants, relocating the bricks and fixing the tiles, I took advantage of the free space under the trees to generate a food independence benefit. I fertilized the soil and sowed some mustard and chia seeds. The result has been wonderful, as you can see in the photos. The germination of seeds in the fertile soil has led to an explosion of life. The plants that have emerged not only beautify the environment, but also contribute to the process of human survival and nutrient acquisition. These mustard and chia seeds, in addition to being consumable as sprouts, give rise to mustard seeds that we can use to prepare nutritious creams and sauces. One more example of the beauty and usefulness that nature offers us!
Quiero compartir con ustedes mi emoción por el proyecto que he emprendido para lograr una independencia alimentaria en este hogar. Después de ayudar a la señora @lmir1965 a mejorar su jardín, decidí que era el momento de tomar el control de nuestra propia alimentación y liberarnos de depender exclusivamente de los supermercados.
Queridos amigos, como les conté en el segmento anterior, estuve ayudando a la señora @lmir1965 a mejorar las áreas de su hogar. Después de podar los árboles, limpiar los pies de las plantas, reubicar los ladrillos y fijar las tejas, aproveché el espacio libre debajo de los árboles para generarle un beneficio de independencia alimenticia. Aboné la tierra y sembré unas semillas de mostaza y chía. El resultado ha sido maravilloso, como pueden apreciar en las fotos. La germinación de las semillas en el suelo fértil ha dado lugar a una explosión de vida. Las plantas que han surgido no solo embellecen el entorno, sino que también contribuyen al proceso de supervivencia humana y de adquisición de nutrientes. Estas semillas de mostaza y chía, además de ser consumibles como germinados, dan lugar a las semillas de mostaza que podemos utilizar para preparar cremas y salsas nutritivas. ¡Una muestra más de la belleza y la utilidad que la naturaleza nos brinda!
After sowing the chia seeds in the fertilized soil, I carefully took care of the growth process of the plants. I watched how little by little they sprang up and extended their delicate green leaves towards the sun. Constant watering and adequate exposure to sunlight were essential for its development. As the days passed, the chia plants grew vigorous and healthy, forming a beautiful green tapestry in Mrs. @lmir1965 's garden.
Después de sembrar las semillas de chía en el suelo abonado, cuidé con esmero el proceso de crecimiento de las plantas. Observé cómo poco a poco iban brotando y extendiendo sus delicadas hojas verdes hacia el sol. El riego constante y la exposición adecuada a la luz solar fueron fundamentales para su desarrollo. Con el paso de los días, las plantas de chía crecieron vigorosas y saludables, formando un hermoso tapiz verde en el jardín de la señora Luisa.
As chia plants reach maturity, they will begin to bloom, displaying beautiful white and blue flowers that will attract bees and other pollinators. These small insects play a crucial role in the pollination process, ensuring the formation of high-quality chia seeds.
A medida que las plantas de chía alcancen la madurez, comenzaran a florecer, mostrando hermosas flores blancas y azules que atraerán a las abejas y otros polinizadores. Estos pequeños insectos desempeñan un papel crucial en el proceso de polinización, garantizando la formación de semillas de chía de alta calidad.
This project not only represents a step towards food independence, but is also a reminder of the beauty and usefulness that nature provides us. I look forward to continuing to share with you the progress of this exciting journey towards a life more connected to the earth and its fruits.

This is an excellent project to stop depending 100% on supermarkets and only this way we will really know what we are consuming. I congratulate you for your decision and I hope you have a healthy and excellent harvest.
Nature gives us all the resources we need to feed ourselves, having the knowledge to use it with conscience is something that should be taken advantage of 🙏
