An Observation of Form Factors
(Edited)
I like transportation hubs from a design and aesthetic perspective. It's hard to put my finger on it. Perhaps it's the long vertical and horizontal lines, the impressive engineering, the architectural shapes, and all the empty spaces in between.
The following photograph shows a train station. At the bottom of the photograph, you see a rusty roof cover that has turned a reddish colour with age and oxidation. In contrast, further down the line, a modern addition to the station, made of glass, which nicely pairs with the cement monoliths that support the rail lines.
That's cool.

It reminds me of the trains in Argentina, I used to live near a railway and I loved to listen to them passing by. It's a great picture!😍
I imagine that there is a familiarity among stations around the world. The sound of the train is mesmerizing, and it used to put me to sleep as a child. :)
It brings back so many memories, thank you!
