A Train in the Sky

The Skytrain is part of the transportation network throughout Metro Vancouver. The lines keep expanding, and the trains keep getting all futuristic and fancy. There are still old cars hanging around, but they're being replaced with new ones that implement modern materials, engineering, and design. The first lines were built in the mid-80s just in time for Expo 86, and they are now expanding to new areas, so it is safe to say that this idea was a hit.
