Genus Maladera

Hi everyone, on this occasion I would like to show you some photos of insects that I found while walking in the forest near my house a few days ago, and these insects feel very special to me because they are the first time I have found them since I became involved with the nature observer community, I found them accidentally when I crossed a path that was overgrown with many weeds like wild taro.

insect species look very interesting starting from their body shape and relatively small size, besides that the behavior of these insects looks very calm and does not show any signs of aggression when I approach them to be immortalized, the color of the insect's body is strong black, on the head there are two branched antennas that look very beautiful, while the long hind legs look more prominent when they are on the wild taro leaves, I only observe them from several outside sides and do not try to turn their bodies because I am very careful with any type of insect because in the past I had a bad experience with them where the sprayed liquid burned my hand skin, so observing them from the outside is the best solution for me right now.

This insect is still foreign to me and my knowledge about them is still very limited, and the matching results in inaturalist I found the appropriate species name is "Genus Maladera", hopefully I have adequate references to learn more about this insect and can share every detail of knowledge with all of you, thank you very much for visiting my blog, see you & have a nice day 🥰
