Fungifriday || Two beautiful mushrooms I found in the wild
Good afternoon everyone 🍄☕🦋
This is my contribution to the #fungifriday contest organized by @ewkaw
for the #fungifriday contest this time I want to share something special with all of you, I have prepared photos of two species of mushrooms which I think are quite interesting and hopefully can give a deep impression to those of you who see them, as we all know that mushrooms are creatures Unique and mysterious, they come in a variety of shapes, colors and textures that often look like something from another world.
on my trip to the forest this time I found two species of mushrooms which I think are very beautiful and worthy of being published to all of you, the first mushroom has a very elegant shape with a striking color and also a very soft texture, while the second photo shows mushrooms with different characters, this mushroom looks simpler but still has its own charm, I always feel that every mushroom has a hidden story behind its shape, and that is the reason for me why exploring the world of mushrooms is so fun.
It should be noted that the beauty of mushrooms is not only limited to their unique shape, but as I have often said, mushrooms also have a very important role in the ecosystem wherever they grow, they are natural decomposers that recycle organic materials without expecting anything in return. from us and also don't want to be known by the wider world, they are just doing their job which has been determined by the universe to ensure the life cycle runs in balance, some mushrooms also have great benefits for us humans both in the culinary world and in the world of traditional medicine .
I really hope that the portraits of the two species of mushrooms that I share this time can inspire all of you, now let's go to take a closer look at the mushrooms that I have found and immortalized for you, this is the first mushroom that I found in this exploration.
The first thing I found in this exploration was the Pluteus semibulbosus fungus which grows on rotten rumbia fronds, the Pluteus semibulbosus fungus is an interesting species of fungus from the Pluteus genus because of its ability to grow on various organic materials that have rotted in the wild.
Morphologically, the Pluteus semibulbosus fungus has a cap that is convex to almost flat when mature, the color is grayish brown which often appears fibrous on the surface, the diameter of the cap varies greatly and this actually depends on the age of the fungus, the gills of the fungus are white when they are still young and will turn into reddish brown when the mushroom has reached the adult stage, the mushroom stem is relatively slender with a smooth texture but at the base it looks a bit bulging, perhaps this is one of the characteristic features of this species.
I have captured the Pluteus semibulbosus mushroom from various aspects of the fungus, I hope this can help you to get to know the Pluteus semibulbosus mushroom more closely.

After being satisfied with observing and capturing several photos of this mushroom, then I continued my search in the surrounding forest, and luckily I found a pile of Physisporinus lineatus mushrooms growing on rotten bamboo trees, the Physisporinus lineatus mushroom has a bright color with a striking pattern, this is My lucky day because I have discovered the second species to share with all of you ☺️
Are you curious about my second mushroom? now let's go to get to know more closely what the Physisporinus lineatus fungus is and its role in our ecosystem!
Physisporinus lineatus is a species of wood fungus that is interesting to observe, especially its ability to grow and develop on dead wood, and in this exploration I found the Physisporinus lineatus fungus growing on dead bamboo trees. stuck in a unique pattern on the surface of a bamboo tree that has begun to rot.
The physical characteristics of the Physisporinus lineatus fungus are that it has a large fruit body, the color of the fungus varies from bright yellow to pure white, the surface of the fungus looks smooth and the texture of the fungus is very hard, if you look closely at the bottom it is filled with fine pores which is very unique, as you can see in the photo, the Physisporinus lineatus mushroom tends to grow in groups and spreads along the surface of the base of the bamboo tree, and this is a very beautiful sight when seen from a close distance with the naked eye.
the presence of Physisporinus lineatus on dead bamboo trees shows that they are also part of the natural decomposers, this fungus also contributes to the decomposition process by breaking down the lignin and cellulose contained in the stems of bamboo trees, have the opportunity to find this fungus growing on the base of bamboo trees dying ruins an otherwise interesting experience for me.
