This is a genjer flower which is often consumed by people as a vegetable. Maybe you have heard one of the songs from Indonesia "genjer-genjer" so this is the plant referred to in the song, while in scientific language this plant is known as "Limnocharis flava" which is a type of swamp plant and has lots of protein for consumption.

This is a Sphaeranthus indicus L. plant which is usually used for traditional medicine, this plant only grows in swamps and rice fields, where I live the plant can only be found once a year, and since the use of grass burning poison this herbal plant is starting to become rare and difficult to find, I found this plant while exploring my aunt's plantation a few days ago.
