Google's Chromecast device failure solution

In recent days, those of us who have Chromecast devices (second generation - in my case), were affected by a total failure of the service; my content could not be played on the TV, so I thought it was a possible virus, I proceeded several times to restart the Chromecast, I changed the Router key, I realized that the modem was damaged (it was very hot), I bought a new Modem - Router, thinking that there was the fault and nothing friends.

En días pasados, quienes tenemos dispositivos Chromecast (segunda generación - en mi caso), nos vimos afectados por una falla total del servicio; mi contenido no se podía reproducir en el TV, por lo que pensé que era un posible virus, procedí varias veces a reiniciar el Chromecast, cambié la clave del Router, me di cuenta que que el modem estaba dañado (estaba muy caliente), compré un nuevo Modem - Router, pensando que allí estaba la falla y nada amigos.

In the following days, Google indicated that the device should not be rebooted and that it would have an automatic update for all connected devices, but those of us who had already rebooted had to wait patiently for the solution.

En los siguientes días, Google indica que no se debía reiniciar el dispositivo y que el mismo tendría una actualización automática para todos los dispositivos conectados, pero, quienes ya habíamos reiniciado, teníamos que esperar la solución pacientemente.

I am very curious in matters of technology, so I proceeded to reset the device again, this time, I had the expected result, so I share with you the solution:

1. From your mobile, look in settings/settings +system + DATE AND TIME.

Soy muy curiosa en cuestiones de tecnología, así que procedí a restablecer nuevamente el dispositivo, esta vez, tuve el resultado esperado, así que les comparto la solución:

1. Desde tu celular, busca en configuración/ajustes +sistema + FECHA Y HORA

1. Proceed to deactivate: AUTOMATIC TIME
2. Set a date PRIOR to March 09 (day of the failure) + accept the changes.

1. Procede a desactivar: HORA AUTOMÁTICA
2. Establece una fecha PREVIA al 09 de marzo (día de la falla) + acepta los cambios

1. From the Google HOME application, select: ADD / ADD DEVICE
2. Select: ADD CHROMECAST

1. Desde la aplicación HOME de Google, selecciona: AÑADIR / AGREGAR DISPOSITIVO
2. Selecciona: AÑADIR CHROMECAST

1. The Chromecast device will become visible and start its pairing process: you must accept the local connection by verifying the security code displayed on the TV screen, the connection of the mobile phone to the Chromecast via Bluetooth.

2. The device shall request to join the active home WIFI network.
