Hi leighdalisay, and thanks for stopping by. I agree with what you say. I would add the following: copper has a vast array of industrial applications. Key sectors include electrical systems and grids, cables and conductors, electric motors and generators, transformers, electronics, telecommunications, construction, and heating systems. The energy sector is particularly important for the future: electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, solar and wind power, energy storage systems, and the expansion of electrical grids all require copper. Even though humans were using native copper thousands of years before the advent of modern chemistry, I believe we will continue to need it.
