Hello, how are you? So my mom bought an air conditioner for our living room, and the place we bought it from has giveaways every weekend only. Luckily, we go on weekends to look for a unit to buy, which is way cheaper to buy, and we choose this place. I know those giveaways are already added to the price of the air conditioner. Freebies like that don't apply to this kind of economy, hahaha.

And then they ask my mom to choose between the phone and the rice cooker. She is supposed to choose the rice cooker, but my dad asked her to just get the phone because his phone is acting weird lately, and it is on the verge of getting broken. They delivered the air conditioner the day after, along with the giveaways. So I asked my dad if I could unbox it for him, and he agreed, and for sure I am the one he is going to ask to do it eventually hahaha.

It came with a box, the name of the phone, and some specs to attract buyers, just a typical phone box. And the one they gave him is Midnight Black with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is decent. I looked online at the price of it, and it was around $81, as the internet says. Budget phone indeed.

More specs on the side. And it has fingerprint and face ID unlock, which is cool, and for only $81, you can have a 5k battery capacity and 15W fast charging.

It came with a free silicone case, a charger adapter, a USB-Cord, a SIM ejector, and of course the phone. It has a 6.88-inch HD display, 720x1080p, and a refresh rate of 120Hr. Like wow!

It has two big cameras in the back and the typical Redmi name on the back. I like the color of it.

Setting up my dad's phone LOL. I know his email and password because I am the one who made it typical kids' job LOL.

I tried the camera, and you know, do not expect a lot from a camera on a budget phone, but it is decent enough to use.

It says that the display is about 720 to 1080p, but the highest quality on YouTube is only about 720p, and the audio is decent, too.

I set the Play Store too to download all the apps my dad needed, and of course, Messenger and Shopee are the most used apps of his LOL.

You can turn the refresh rate between 60Hz and 120Hz, so I chose 120Hz, which looks the same to me LOL.

This is my first time knowing that a budget phone from a company brand limits the double-tap to wake, like what? So they add the lift the phone instead, so my dad asks me why the double click to wake doesn't work for him. I explained it to him after that. I turn on the battery percentage too because I know he'll ask me again LOL.

Haven't tried the finger and face ID, but I hope it works. That night, he did all his chores that day and then just tried the phone and got used to it.

My dad really likes the phone, he let me order tempered glass, and he doesn't like the clear casing, so he bought one that is right for his aesthetic, too LOL.
