Amusingly my first throught about the Pi 5 was the supply issues as well. "Man, have they even solved the supply chain issues of the pi 4 yet? How are they going to release a new one and keep them in stock for more than 5 minutes?"

I think stock will be difficult, but probably not as bad as it was previously. Pi's are nortoriously price gouged on Amazon and other places as well with vendors forcing you to buy kits or pay a premium.
