FungiFriday - Red cup mushroom inspiration

1000086837.jpg

I shouldn't have taken that photo. Because it grows in wood cavities, I have to reach inside to pick it up. But this little red cup really couldn't bear to leave it like that. So I tried to put my hand into the root cavity of the big wood to take out. Oh... it turns out it grows separately, this cup grows on a small twig. I mean separate, not like I thought before blending in with that big pile of roots.

I understand now that something beautiful is not easy to get. Words that will be beautiful in time require a long and sometimes bloody process to go through :)
Just like the struggle to get this beautiful red cup, you have to dig up the tree roots.

And now, let me go through the process. The beauty is that you are the only ones enjoying my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw.

If you have free time I would also be happy. You scroll down to see other species that are no less beautiful too. Thank you so much!
