Perception of "Luxury" is shifting from offline to online world.
Earlier, sitting in a high-end car was considered a luxury but today, to be able to access exclusive content on platform is considered luxury.
Your thoughts?

I never thought of that before, but I guess it makes sense... Especially if it's a VIP thing. Not only you need to pay to enter, but also specific skills/requirements for eligibility.

If this isn't around (or isn't a problem) right now, I imagine it'll be in 2-5 years at most.

It will, sooner than later!
Definition of many concepts will change.

A lot of people are living luxurious lives compared to 10,000 years ago!

  • That's for sure 😀

True!
But, definition of luxury is changing. What we think as luxury is not the same what next generation might agree to.
Same goes with assets.

Luxury for our great grand children might be being plugged into a computer 😬

Your comment reminds me of the "Surrogates" film of 2009, where people live daily lives where their brains are plugged in to machines which then remotely robotic bodies that resemble their human bodies. 😬

The "Surrogates" film of 2009 is different from the Matrix film of 1999 such that the surrogate machines venture into the real world and are controlled by humans who intentionally and voluntarily use those machines.

Yeah, I don't remember the whole movie, but I remember Surrogates being a good film 😊
