The saving idea

Greetings everyone🙌

Many times, if I'm attending work, I keep my phone plugged away while my airpod is connected and plugged to my ear to answer calls when they come.
Airpod has been the next thing I'm very fond of after my phone; it gives me so much ease.

Just yesterday's afternoon, while I was working in the afternoon, calls began to fly in, but because my hands were technically busy, I decided to let the calls ring and stop because I knew the people that were calling even when I didn't check the phone. They were my friends on the blockchain, reminding me that there's a quest to attend to in the ongoing Zealy campaign.

The calls kept coming, and I had to pick it up. I placed my hand on it, and the force with which I used to touch it made it fall to the ground, and it opened. I picked it up, and after my work, I tried to use it, but I noticed that one of the wires there had been disconnected.

"Oooh!" I lamented out of pain because the situation at which it was was calling for a new one. Yes, the wire is so tiny and delicate too, and any hard struggle trying to fix it would result in its total destruction.

Buying an airpod has not been on my budget. Gadgets market is not something to get close to now in Nigeria.

I'm someone who derives joy from repairing electronic stuff, even though not all of it works well in the end.

I brought it out, placed it on the table, and got a wire—a tiny one but bigger to a little extent than the one I was to connect with. I got glue (we call it super glue), carefully gummed back the wire, and it stayed fixed, and I became so excited. I just saved myself from buying a new one.

Unfortunately, when I connected it to my phone, the light dimmed but the voice didn't follow.
My mood felt bad again. I knew what was wrong, and I don't have the solution to it. It's because I used glue instead of soldering iron and led.

I didn't have led or soldering iron, which means I had to go to a phone engineer and beg him to make use of his materials so I could do it myself and reduce the price. I knew it'd be difficult to get my request.

When I got there, I showed him and he said I should go and buy another one because airpods are not worked on due to how small they are. I pleaded and pleaded, but he refused.
After much talk, he insisted he must do it himself. I tried arguing to win him over, but his adamancy was top-notch.

He won, I gave it to him, he carefully soldered it back, and yep, my airpod returned to its normal self.

Did I pay him? Not really; I just gave him N500 (0.5 dollars), which he accepted without complaining.

That's it,
I used $0.5 to remedy the situation; I should have used up to $10 to get a new one.

Thanks for reading.

Airpod are nice things we used for calls and music, what save you is that, you had the idea that it can be repaired, if not, you wouldn't have went to the phone engineer, and it's true, you have spend less rather than buying new you didn't budget for.
Continue rocking your airpod dear friend.
