The course of greed

Just like in a movie I watched some time ago, it was man's uncontrollable pain(emotional pain) that led them to discover a plant with the power to bring the dead back to life, although it eventually caused them unresolvable trouble in the movie.

It's the same thing we've been experiencing throughout our existence on planet Earth. I've thought about it many times, and I have concluded that there will come a time when death will be cheated easily through scientific or technological discoveries. You doubt it?

The evolution we've experienced in every area of life today was birthed by man's hunger to know more, man's hunger to find ways of doing things quicker and better. What makes you think there aren't people already searching for a way to completely cheat death and make humans live eternally on this earth?

People call it greed, which is true to some extent. Yet, it's this same greed that has led us to where we are today. Wouldn't you like to live in an era where death is no longer possible through accidents unless you willingly choose to die?

At this point, I just feel that God, the Creator of the earth, willingly allows things to unfold when it comes to the age in which He sees mankind's eagerness to tame death. Or don't you think so? Just imagine the unimaginable things, positive ones, in particular, that are being accomplished in the health sector. As odd as it may seem, it appears that science is gradually overcoming the limitations originally placed on humanity by its Creator, and He's allowing it to happen. How can you explain the fact that a baby can now be brought into the world without being fully developed inside the mother's womb? Didn't God allow mankind to achieve that? What about the addition of synthetic flesh to the human body without causing harm? The list is just endless. We sometimes joke that one day God will become angry and scatter the world when He has had enough of human greed and humanity's constant attempts to overcome everything He originally put in place.

I was fortunate enough to come from an era when phones needed antennas, or when one had to climb to the top of a tree just to make a phone call. I won't lie, our fathers were very comfortable during that period of life. They didn't see the need to innovate or improve things. But when technology advanced, they all embraced it. They eventually realized they had been enduring unnecessary difficulties and became comfortable with the improvements that technology brought, even though they had once been satisfied with what they had.

From what we've seen and experienced, growth requires greed to thrive. Without greed, growth rarely takes place. The only issue is that, most of the time, this greed within humanity gets out of hand and ends up hurting the human race.

But the bitter truth is that we can't control the greed the world is experiencing. No, no, it can't be controlled. So we're going to keep living like this.
