Robot as a friend? No!
One of the major reasons people choose to be isolated, without friends, is because of human nature, where trust and the reciprocation of love on a mutual ground have become scarce commodities. Is that a lie? Of course, it is not.
I want to approach this from another bothersome angle, and that is the growing trend of humans getting s3xually satisfied by objects instead of fellow humans. One of the reasons people do this these days is because of the problematic nature of human relationships. Is that a lie? Of course, it is not.
As things currently stand, a large number of people on planet Earth would prefer to live with objects such as robots—entities they can control—rather than deal with humans who may cause them harm. In fact, this is already happening, which is why trends surrounding robotic lifestyles are on the rise.

However, in all of this, I have never fancied the idea of living with robots, having robots as friends, or marrying a robot, as we see in movies and even in real life in some Western countries. In the same vein, I have never fancied the idea of having pets, regardless of their level of intelligence or sensory abilities. No, I am a human, and I love to have humans around me, even though I prefer to keep my circle limited. To me, having a robot with human-like feelings feels no different from having a pussycat, dog, bird, or goat as a friend—that is, as a pet.
When critically examined against the current state of human relationships, the idea of having a 90% human-like robot does appear appealing, especially considering the fact that such a robot can still be controlled, even while exhibiting emotions and feelings. Nonetheless, for me, I do not see myself getting involved in such a form of friendship.

STOPHuman nature has made human an enemy of humanity
Lolss, a particular movie acted by Will Smith about Robots going wild and killing humans has corrupted my brain about Robots. I don't see myself having a robot a s a friend at all
How does a sane human even decide they want to spend the rest of their life with a robot? It just doesn’t sound right to me. I too, do not see myself getting involved in such friendship, no matter how trustworthy it appears. I’d rather stay friends with my imperfect humans.
