I love Earth
I have heard talks about people relocating to another liveable planet in years to come, and it has never gotten into me, just the same way the talk of me relocating permanently without the option of visiting Nigeria again has never interested me. If I leave Nigeria permanently, what then happens to my family and "my NAME"? The same thing applies to leaving Earth to relocate to another planet — what would then happen to my name or the family properties on Earth? Sold or transferred to other people? No, I’m a cultural man!

Although the Earth is crying due to global warming and earthquakes, which is one of the natural disasters, are happening every now and then in different parts of the world, the devil you know is still better than the angel you don’t know. What if I uproot my life and that of everyone related to me and move to another planet, and in the long run, the real occupants (aliens) decide to take over their planet by attacking humans living on the new planet — what happens to me and my family? Return back to Nigeria to start again without even a home or community to fall back to? No, I won’t allow that.
The Earth is bad currently, but we’ve been able to survive all that’s happening, and the fact that we are living on our own land and not on another creature’s planet makes it better and liveable.
No doubt, the other planets have been studied by scientists to a large extent. Scientists have been to some of them, and although none of them is freely liveable by humans for now, if that eventually happens and the people on Earth decide to move to the newly found liveable planet, and the type of activities we do on Earth are carried out on the new planet, I feel the new planet will crumble and crash with ease. And when that happens, where do we run to? Back to Earth?
This, our planet Earth, is a very strong one that has been able to withstand all sorts of pressures from humans. Although it’s been fighting back, what it has seen is more than anyone could write about. I think the Earth is the strongest of all the planets.
I can only relocate to the planet if everyone is leaving the Earth because of one major and general issue. Or, if there’s no issue, I can decide to go to the habitable planet but only based on visitation and not ready to live there permanently. It’s the same as I said in my first paragraph — I don’t think I can relocate permanently to another country, leaving everything behind. No way!
