Early days of using phone
Greetings!
I was among those who didn’t have the opportunity to own a phone early on. For me, it wasn’t that phones were expensive back then, but the money to buy one was scarce. This was mostly because parents weren’t responsible for getting us phones, so we had to hustle for the money ourselves.
Although I started using a phone before I actually owned one, I began by borrowing my friends’ phones and my dad’s phone. Unfortunately, my dad’s phone didn’t have internet access, and I wasn’t a game freak either, so I mostly relied on my friends' phones. We’d sit together, browse the internet, and download JPEGs of beautiful ladies and music, especially those with file sizes around 50KB.
My first phone was a 'China phone.' For those of us who used phones back in those days, you should know what China Phones were.
What did I do with the phone?
Hold on, did China phones have games? No, I don’t think so. Or maybe if they did, it must have been some really terrible game. So yeah, I didn’t do anything related to gaming, and the following are the things I did with the phone:
Collect music and short videos via Bluetooth:
During those days, we were very crazy about collecting files from friends' phones via Bluetooth. In fact, once we heard any new track or saw any interesting videos on a friend’s phone, we would start begging to connect via Bluetooth to get them on our phones. It was crazy back then because even though we were scared of contracting viruses, we still went ahead and collected those files.
I remember when friends would change their Bluetooth names to "Virus" just to scare me off from connecting to their Bluetooth. Those days, we mostly used SD cards, and these cards would eventually get full. When that happened, we’d start deleting the songs we had overplayed and the videos we had watched too many times, just to make space for more files. Funny enough, those videos were of the poorest quality, but they seemed perfect at the time—probably because our phones were only compatible with such low-quality videos.
Downloading JPEGs, music, and videos:
This was another thing I was very fond of, which never allowed me to rest. The most interesting part is that I didn’t need to buy much data; just 10MB of free data from recharging my phone was enough for me to download all kinds of photos, videos, and music. My favorite site back then was WAPTRICK. OMG! That site was legendary. It was the quickest way to download anything, especially music, with very small file sizes, ranging from 50KB to 100KB. They always had the best pictures of beautiful white ladies, which we downloaded and used as wallpapers and screensavers. Oh, the good old days!
Back then, all the songs from the Mo'hits crew were on my phone—none of them were missing.
Chatting!
It wasn’t until I got my second phone, a Java phone, that I entered the world of chatting. 2go, Eskimi, and Smiggle were the leading platforms at the time. I think many of us who used these apps know how addictive chatting on those platforms could be. I would go to the farm, and all I’d be thinking about was rushing home to grab my phone and log in to say "hi" to my friends online. I met a lot of babes during those days, and interestingly, I’m still in touch with some of them.

You just reminded me of Tubidy too. Very very beautiful says when 10 MB was a big deal. I used my mother’s bird phone then and would browse to my heart content 😂
Those days were the best days on earth.
Imagine using 10MB to surf for eternity and not thinking of monthly sub😅

At least you could listen to music on your first phone. 🤧
My first phone was a Nokia torch and the only thing I can remember using that phone for was snake game and bounce ball game, then making calls to my parents.
Mine didn't even have Internet or a memory card slot 😂
That was my dad's phone, the Nokia torch phone. I remember the Bounce and Snake Xenzia games which I played but was not really into them.
So this lady is among the Millennial generation or probably early gen Z babe.😂

Looks like you have been the babe business a long time. Interesting nostalgic story you have shared with us. Have you considered revisiting those sites like waptrick and wondered what you may find? Waptrick was a legend in those times.
!Lolz
Upon seeing this, I took a walk there and the site is not spoiled. It's just ads, ads and ads😂
I also didn't have the opportunity to use phone earlier enough
.it was after I got admission in the university...it wasn't funny..mom frowned at it wen I attempted to borrow phone from a friend to play games...it was so difficult for me to join the digital lifestyle
During those days, the world was not at the level it is currently. Not now that even children in primary schools are opening iPhones.
