Device to see tomorrow

Greetings!

They say one of the biggest happenings that make life more interesting is not knowing what would happen tomorrow, next week, next month, or in many years to come. Life is designed in such a way that its surprising nature is top-notch. The "not knowing what tomorrow would hold" here does not mean that we don't know tomorrow is Thursday, Friday, or Sunday, or that next year is 2025—no, I mean the outcome of that day. This is why we live every day without knowing when we will die. Imagine if one knew the exact day they would die; life wouldn't be as interesting as it is now.

But what if it's possible to have a glimpse of the outcome of the next day—just the next 24 hours of one's life—through technology? Wouldn't that be fascinating? Or is it just me who sees it that way?

If I had the opportunity to create a technological device that balances surprise with practicality, here's what I would do: I would create a device that allows one to see the outcome of the next day. I wouldn’t extend it to weeks, months, or years because that would take away the thrill. The device would operate in such a way that each user could access it only once a month. Once the limit is reached, the scans for that user would be exhausted until the next year.

It might sound like such a device already exists because it would use Augmented Reality (AR) glasses—similar to those seen in the Metaverse or gaming world.

Operational Mode:

As I mentioned, it would be an Augmented Reality device(glass). Upon acquiring it, users would undergo a one-time registration via fingerprint, and it would grant them access to use it once a month. When plugged into the user's eyes, the device would project both their focused thoughts and random outcomes. For example, they could see how an event they’re planning to attend would unfold.

What are the benefits of this device?

The benefits are numerous. Since the device would reveal glimpses of the future, it would make life more thrilling by letting people anticipate events before they happen.

The first scenario that comes to mind is betting. I don't currently bet, but if I were to invent this device, I would swiftly enter the betting world. I would bet only once a month, using the device to see the outcome of matches before they’re played. With this, I could confidently stake all my savings, knowing a massive return is guaranteed.

How about predicting crypto trends? Cryptocurrencies are notoriously difficult to forecast, but with this device, one could see how a coin would perform in the next 24 hours, allowing for smarter investment decisions.

I initially thought about using this device to predict election outcomes, but there's often no need for that, as we usually have a pretty good idea of who will win before the election. Lol

Now, for the scariest use case: peeking 24 hours into the future and seeing that one is destined to die that day. Strangely, I think this could also be beneficial. It would give the person time to indulge in all their favorite foods and seek repentance to ensure they make it to heaven. Lol....if there's heaven and hell though 😏

Thanks for reading.
