Battling the Scorching Heat: How the JISULIFE Handheld Fan Life 7 Became my Summer Lifesaver

You’ll definitely agree with me when I say that the heat these days isn’t normal. If you are in the Philippines or if you are a fellow Filipino who’s reading this, I know that you know what I am talking about.

It’s hot! Like super-duper hot! It is not an exaggeration but the truth.

It’s the kind of heat that clings to your skin, makes you sweat profusely even if you just came out of the shower, and makes your daily commute feel like a punishment. Sometimes I wonder if this is what it feels like to be inside an oven, or if this is a trial card in hell.

As a student who often commutes to go to the university, I can confidently say that the 42 degrees Celsius of heat is the greatest enemy and a distraction. I have a fan (pamaypay) with me every time I travel, but it is not enough. Even if I bring an extra shirt, cold water, and even prayer, it won’t suffice.

I sweat easily. I hate it, but that’s how my body works, and I hate it for it. Whenever I am staying in my dormitory in Metro Manila, I always take multiple showers a day. Two times is the minimum, and I remember taking a shower five times! Whenever I wake up during the day, and whenever I sleep during the night. It became my routine.

That is when I realized that I need something. Something that might help me, even just for a little. So, I went to an online shop. I browse for something compact, portable, aesthetic, and that best suits my needs. I looked for a portable fan. I stumbled upon different brands, but the two brands that stand out the most are the GOOJODOQ and JUSULIFE. That is when I stumbled upon the JISULIFE Handheld Life 7.

I did not buy it right away. Instead, I browsed reviews of existing users on their shop. I watched unboxings and impressions on YouTube, stalked TikTok accounts for their honest feedback, and asked my friends if it was worth the money.

I need to make sure. The price of the item I am eyeing is quite expensive. You can buy a literal electric fan for your household already for that price. Once I finished investigating and collecting statements, I gave my verdict.

I will purchase it because I deserve it.

I eventually went to the shopping app and checked out the product. Luckily, it was on sale, which made it even more satisfying. The original price of the item is 1,119 pesos or 20.11 dollars. It only took 3 days for the product to arrive at my doorstep. And without any hesitation, I unboxed it. I can’t wait any longer, you know the familiar feeling of online shopping thrill. That’s it.

I opened it right away to the point that I forgot to take a picture of its box. And honestly, I was impressed and satisfied with its looks. I love the color! My first impression is that it is quite bulky and handy. There’s a heaviness with it, which is understandable since I ordered the 5000 mAh variant. It feels premium in my hand, and it is built solidly.

It comes with a white free lace, a Type-C charging cord, and a user manual. You can use the lace to hang it around your neck while using it. Truth to be told, I don’t like the lace that came with it. It can easily get dirty, especially if you’re planning to use it daily.

I used it the whole day to test its performance and battery capacity, and I am satisfied with my experience with this item.

So, What do I Love about this Product?

First, its battery is superb. It was delivered to me with a 71 percent battery life. It took me 7 hours to drain its battery with a power setting of 2 to 3, respectively.

It has a total of 5 power settings, which correspond to its air power. 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest setting. I usually use 2, which drains the battery more slowly, and vice versa.

It is not that noisy compared to other versions of JISULIFE. However, if you use the product and set it to its highest power, there’s a noise forming, but it’s bearable.

Lastly, it is foldable! Unlike other fans in the market, it can be folded. You can fold it and drop it somewhere, which prevents you from holding it for a long time.

Now, it goes wherever I go. It lessens my sweaty moments at school, and I can say that this is one of the best purchases that I've ever made. With its price, I can say that it is worth it, and until now, it is working perfectly without any issues.

This is not a cure for climate change, but at least you won’t feel like you are burning slowly while waiting for your next bus.
