Yeah, we tried twice to get some basic funding from the DHF, but I guess the few whales at the top feel threatened by the things that I like to build. I mean, I get it, these products are very disruptive (Hive-Tube, PalmPay, the HiveCast mobile app...) which also render some of the projects that they vote on and support, well, obsolete. But whatever, keep reinventing the wheel and watch where that gets you guys (speaking to them). Butt hurt? Yeah, a bit. Ya know what though, I love the products we have built over the years. Hive-Tube powered sites in fact, could render youtube and spotify obsolete as well. It's been up and running now for a couple years and if we could just get a couple bigdog influencers from youtube to start running their own Hive-Tube powered sites (bigger than vigilante.tv, flatearthdave.tv, etc) then their followers would tell their other favorite influencers to do the same and then that free marketing would just snowball and youtube is finished. imo, it's literally that easy to get the stickiness that Hive deserves. Hive does not have a marketing problem, it has a retention problem. People will come here and STAY here if they are welcomed with open arms and not have their paltry income downvoted to oblivion in their first week because they have unpopular personal beliefs. People are in fear of upvoting those unpopular beliefs too because in short order those same dv whales will now start downvoting those who upvoted them. A sad reality here on Hive, and it needs to change. Karma is coming for those who go out of their way to hurt others though, so I will sit here and build stuff, awaiting that beautiful day when those assholes lose everything, and they will. Life moves in cycles. Right now they feel like they are on top of the world and they rule the chain yeah, but that cycle is ending and many people are waking up right now to their game. Wow, a bit of a rant today hehe but ya know what, my frequency is high, my smile is huge, my family and I are super healthy, life is awesome and a ton of good karma has come my way the last year so I must be doin somethin right. Keep building people. Render the beast obsolete! 💪💚🤠
