Some bridges built during the British period are still standing in glory.
Hello friends how are you all? I hope you are very well. Basically my village home is in Dinajpur city, Bangladesh, Dinajpur city is one of the cities in this city. So I went to Dinajpur several months ago. Then I go around my area along with my friends I will discuss before you about one place that place is one of my favorite place and that is Chirirbandar Railway Bridge which was originally built during the British period it will be about 100 years old as far as I know.
I spent two years on the side of this bridge that you can see. I went to Chithir Bandar Upazila to study and stayed there for two years, because of which I often had to go around this bridge with my friends especially in the afternoon. I walked to that bridge. I used to spend nice time there. People used to come here to spend their precious time. Presently there are total two bridges one is the old bridge which was built during the British period and another one is the new bridge which was built in 2015. People flock here from nearby areas.
It is very nice to see the old bridge. It is a red colored bridge, but no train runs over it. At present, it is abandoned due to rain. People only move over it. Atrai river is below. It would be wrong to say Atrai river, it is Kangra river. But it is known as a branch river of Atmai River. This river has many acquaintances. This river is about 30 to 40 km distance. As far as I know, I sometimes go to this bridge when I go home. Especially in the afternoon, I like the cold weather. Really worth watching.
The location of this bridge is one kilometer west of Chirirbandar upazila. But you have to come a long way from Dinajpur city to come to this bridge, if you come by train, then you have to come from Dinajpur to Chirirbandar. Many people have been involved in accidents. Some of them died after falling from the bridge. Around the bridge there are many gardens with kashflowers blooming in autumn and winter, people come here to watch them work and people take pictures there. So this was my writing about this bridge. Hope you all like my post.
