Excellent story @agmoore . To make this kind of story you have to read and read. People think it's just imagination but, in my case, I always start outlining lines and check the internet to continue writing. I feel more secure that way.
I loved all the variables you introduced in the story and the spectacular ending...

I'm busy editing my book of short stories, so I've been a bit away from Inkwell. But that community is always in my heart. As soon as I can, I'll get back to participating with my stories.

You are so correct. I consulted the Internet many times as I wrote. Wanted to get the details correct. Even stuff I thought I knew, I checked it out so I wouldn't make a mistake.
Writing a story is like making a slow-cooking stew, except with the story some of the ingredients are not known in advance :)
I love your writing. Do hope to see more of it in the Inkwell.
