Ow noooooo, it all went offline

I guess if you hadn't noticed yesterday that Facebook, Instagram and whatsapp were offline, you were probably sleeping or you really must hate socials.

So yeah everything was offline to some error from someone. We were already speculating here if this would ba an attack of any kind, or if this was really just the human error of someone locking themsleves out of the application, locking themselves out of the building and locking themslves out of a bit more...To find out that they aren't able to get back in and one of the biggest companies in the world all of a sudden is offline.

So now this was facebook and co..But what if this is Amazon and co?

So after a couple of hours when all went dark I didn't really feel like I had missed a thing apart from that Twitter was getter so much traffic that this also was starting to get glitchy. But then I started to think, because over the years..hadn't my lazy ass used the 'log in with facebook' more often than I would have actually wanted.?

Because if all of those log ins are not working as well, then things might start to get a bit more tough.

And what about when this same kind of thing would happen to the Amazon company. No, I am not talking about that you won't be able to do your online shopping at that moment anymore, or order anything at that time of day. but isn't Amazon one of the biggest companies in webhosting around the world?

Any isn't this actually a very vulnerable thing when all of these websites would go offline. And companies say for instance also mayeb airports or hospital who have their cloud sourcing over there go offline. What will happen then?

Cloud sourcing seems like a good idea because it is not at your place, but it is at someone elses place and still is more shaky than we really realize.

My simple brain would say then that blockchain technology would be the better way to fix this, because this is all not hosted at one station but at more locations are corresponding. But on the other hand we have heard of blockchains which went offline, and I think our own one is also one of those.

So how does that happen then? How are the immutable then all of a sudden muted? And how serious would this be to the world of everything went offline in that second?

Last night showed how everything can get very crapped up in just a couple of hours in a simple chain of events as mentioned before. We are all way too digitally dependent of everything.
