Last week was busy, and I couldn't find time for the usual Friday puzzles. But I want to make it up today. It's a bit late, but effort is appreciated, right?

V poslední toho bylo celkem hodně a na vydání tradičních pátečních hádanek jsem si bohužel nezvládla najít čas. A to bych chtěla dnes napravit. Sice je to trochu se zpožděním, ale snaha se přeci cení, nebo ne?

This week, our group went out to celebrate our friend's graduation. But that wasn't the only thing we had to celebrate. We found out that our friend and his wife are expecting a baby. That's why today's puzzles are focused more on children than usual. Although they are designed for practicing simple math, they can also be challenging for adults.

Tento týden jsme s celou partou zašli oslavit kamarádovo státnice. Ale to nebylo jediné, co bylo třeba oslavit. Dozvěděli jsme se totiž, že jeho manželka čeká miminko. No a proto jsem se dnešní hádanky rozhodla zaměřit mnohem více na děti než obvykle. Hádanky jsou sice na procvičení jednoduché matematiky, ale mohou dát zabrat i dospělému.

Joseph wants to buy an ice cream for 25 cent, but he doesn't have the money. So he borrows 15 cent from his aunt and 15 cent from his grandmother. Than he buys the ice cream and has 5 cent left. He returns 2 cent to his aunt and 2 cent to his grandmother. He keeps the remaining 1 CZK for himself.
Now he owes his grandmother 13 cent and his aunt 13 cent. In total, he owes 26 cent. If we add the 1 cent that he has left, the total should be 27 cent. But where are the remaining 3 cent?

Pepíček si chce koupit zmrzlinu za 25 Kč, ale bohužel na ní nemá peníze. Proto si od tety půjčí 15 Kč a od babičky taky 15 Kč.
Za půjčené peníze si koupil zmrzlinu a zbylo mu 5 Kč. Tetě vrátí 2 Kč a babičce taky. Zbylou korunu si nechá.
Nyní babičce tedy dluží 13 Kč a tetě dluží 13 Kč. Celkem tedy dluží 26 Kč, přičteme-li k tomu 1 Kč, která mu zbyla, tak po součtu je to 27 Kč. Kde jsou ty zbylé 3 Kč?

We have the numbers 2 and 7. What sign do we need to insert between the numbers in order to obtain a number greater than 2 but less than 7? (The order of the numbers must remain the same.)

Máme čísla 2 a 7. Jaké znaménko je potřeba vložit mezi čísla tak, abychom získali číslo větší než 2, ale menší než 7? (Pořadí čísel musí zůstat zachováno.)
