Nothing is as rewarding as creating more awareness for #spendhbd project and having included #hive as part of my life and daily routine, I'm always willing to make adjustments for activities to promote the project. I've been so engrossed with hive to the extent that I don't always remember other social platforms still exists.

So we had planned to visit a school at yabatech Polytechnic. The plan was to meet with the students one on one and discuss with them by introducing hive to the and signing them up through Spendhbd community, assisting them to make their first shopping and claiming their discounts. This was the main goal but we were told that the school went on a short break because of Christmas celebration and only few students yet to leave for the holiday were in school.

There has to be another plan so the day is not wasted without any achievement. We decided to do an evening shopping in group instead, information was sent to our WhatsApp channel by my trusted local guide @beauty197 about plans for shopping by 4pm and the store to shop was @chiefomart.

I got ready and took a bus to the said location because it was a bit far from where I live. I got to the store and to my amazement, I was the first to arrive even at 30 minutes late, I put a call across to my local guide and chatted other shoppers up to come quickly so that we can get a bright pictures.

While waiting for them, I decided to connect my wireless earphones and listen to cool music while I waited for them, I also took lovely selfies and danced to my music.

Few minutes later, my local guide arrived and others joined in as well and we all went into business for the day immediately because we wanted to get bright pictures after shopping.
Our local guide mentored the new users by having a brief conversation with them. Many have not been consistent and she encouraged them, acknowledging that she knows how busy lagos can be, but they should try and put more effort and they will be glad about their rewards. They also needed to understand what consistency is the key on hive, engagement is also another key to success on hive. So she encouraged them to take time and explore the communities and broaden their knowledge, read and engage in other people's work so that they can grow.

After the mentorship, We @kachy2022 my self, @tega070, @nebytes2, @ozibaby, @emiliashley338 and @tega0 shopped what we wanted in two different stores @chiefomart and @goshopping store. The transaction was fast because we had a good network, everyone did their purchases and made payments with hbd, they claimed their discounts without delay.

I generated receipt, made payment and went to @distriator app to claim my discount.

We spent over 50hbd in total from yesterday's shopping and we were all happy shopping together as a team.
