Technology: A Blessing More Than a Burden

Honestly, I’d say technology has made life a lot easier. Sometimes, people argue that it makes life complicated, and yes, that can be true in some cases, but for me, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.
As a student, technology has been a real lifesaver. One of the biggest ways it has helped me is through artificial intelligence (A.I). These days, doing assignments, projects, and even research work has become so much easier with the help of A.I. tools. They help me find answers faster, explain complex topics in simple terms, and even give me creative ideas when I’m stuck. I remember when we had a group presentation in class. The topic we were given was quite broad, and we didn’t know where to start. So we decided to make use of A.I. to help us organize our ideas. It provided us with useful points, helped us understand the topic better, and even guided us on how to make our presentation more interesting. In the end, everything went perfectly, and we got really good feedback from our lecturer. That day, I realized how powerful technology can be when you use it the right way.
Apart from schoolwork, technology has made other parts of life easier, too. Communication, for instance, is way better than it used to be. I remember that before now, people had to wait days or even weeks to receive letters, but now, I can send a message to someone probably in canada and get a reply within seconds.
Also, technology has made learning new things more convenient. A person doesn't always need to go to a library or attend a physical class anymore. With just a phone or laptop, they can be access tp millions of resources online. I’ve personally learned so many things from YouTube and educational websites—things I probably wouldn’t have learned in school. It’s amazing how the internet gives you access to information on almost any topic you can think of.
That said, I won’t pretend that technology doesn’t have its downsides. Sometimes, it makes people too dependent, and other times, it can be distracting. For example, it’s so easy to pick up your phone to check one thing and end up spending hours scrolling through social media. This happens to me sometimes when i am in class and i tend to loose focus. I have also noticed that many people, including myself, sometimes rely too much on A.I. instead of thinking for myselves. And there’s also the concern that some jobs might be replaced by machines in the future. So, yes, technology can be complicated if it’s not used wisely.
But when I look at the bigger picture, I still believe technology has made life easier. It has helped students like me study better, improved communication, and made the world more connected. Even with its challenges, the benefits are just too many to ignore. The truth is, technology is not the problem—it’s how we use it that determines whether it makes our lives easier or more complicated.
In my own experience, I can confidently say that technology has been more of a blessing than a burden. It has saved me time, made learning fun, and opened up opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise. So yes, while it has its flaws, I still believe technology has made life much easier for me and for everyone else.
