🔥 MY FIRST IPHONE - iPhone 17 Review after a month 📆

After more than 15 years using Android, it's time to say goodbye. I've bought my first iPhone and I want to do a review after using it for a month.

During December, I worked a lot and earned almost €1000 just in overtime, so I decided to use all the extra money to buy a iPhone, even though I've never liked iPhones until now.

Before buying my iPhone 17, I always thought that you end up paying more for being an Apple product than for what the device offers, and although I still think that, I've discovered other reasons for its high price and can more strongly justify spending so much money on a phone.

OLD CAMERA, POOR QUALITY HEHE

After a month of use, I can give a more realistic opinion.

  • Aesthetically, I think the phone is beautiful, it has a very smooth and clean texture.

  • I don't usually use the camera feature, but the camera quality is very good, it's not all about the mpx count.

  • Apple's ecosystem is very different but very well optimized. The ease of daily use is noticeable, and with the super-fast Face ID, everything is wonderful.

  • The iPhone is a device that can last you 6 years without any problems, while most Android phones become slow and stop receiving updates after 3 or 4 years. (Except for Samsung's premium range and some Google Pixel phones.)

  • The OLED screen with true blacks is another strong point, along with the 120Hz refresh rate.

  • But the most important aspect for me in a mobile phone is the battery. A phone without a battery is nothing, and Apple never really used fast charging until recently. Now I think it's worth it. Plus, they include a 40W cable.

  • I opted for the base model because this year's iPhone 17 is just as good as the iPhone 17 Pro, and the extra €300 isn't worth it for the minimal difference, even though I much prefer the Pro's design.

  • It's an expensive phone, and accidents can happen, but that's where AppleCare comes in. They'll repair a cracked screen for €29, the back glass for €29, or any other damage for €99. Still worried? Don't be. With the anti-theft or anti-loss plan, if your phone is stolen or lost, they'll give you a brand new one for €129. The subscription costs €12 per month or €240 for two full years (basically, you pay for 20 months and get 24). If the battery health drops to 79%, the replacement is free as long as you have AppleCare.

  • As a gift with your purchase, they include 3 months of Apple Music (very useful), 3 months of Apple TV (the quality isn't great and it's not something I'd pay extra for), 3 months of Apple Fitness for your workouts, and 3 months of Apple Arcade (game catalog). After spending almost €1000, this little extra is appreciated.

  • They also include a 1-year limited warranty (in addition to the legal warranty in your region). This warranty offers priority support for any issues. In Europe, they are already obligated to assist you at any Apple store, even if you bought it on Amazon, for example, but it's nice that they voluntarily specify this in case someone isn't aware of their rights.

I'm happy with my purchase. However, to go with it, I decided to also buy AirPods 4. In this case, I think the product quality is worse. 8 years ago, I had AirPods 1 and later AirPods 2, and for me, I think they were a much more premium and higher-quality product than the current AirPods 4. They don't have the same sound quality, and the bass vibration is even worse. The battery life is also shorter because they think making them smaller is better, which is a mistake. I'm considering buying AirPods Pro 3.

Personal rating: (I also consider the price)

  • iPhone 17: 9/10
  • AirPods 4: 6/10
