Hello Ecency! I'm Zahib Ahmad 👋
Hi everyone, I'm Zahib Ahmad, and I've been looking forward to writing this post.

A bit about my background: I'm a postgraduate, and these days I run my own educational institution. It keeps me busy, but honestly it's been one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done, watching an idea grow into a place where people actually come to learn.
I'm also a biologist by training, and I think that never really leaves you. Even now, I find myself drawn to nature and to life in all its forms, always curious about how things grow, adapt, and survive. I guess once you start looking at the world that way, it's hard to stop.
Outside of work, chess takes up a good chunk of my free time. I've always admired Garry Kasparov, there's something about the way he played that still amazes me when I look back at his games. I also love reading history. There's nothing quite like getting lost in a book about the past and realizing how much of it still echoes in the present.
That's really why I'm here on Ecency. I wanted a space to share what I know, what I'm learning, and what I'm curious about, whether that's biology, education, a chess match, or something I picked up from a history book. I'm looking forward to being part of this community and getting to know more of you along the way.
Hi Zahib — I really enjoyed the mix of biology, education, chess, and history in your first post, especially how you described building your own educational institution and still seeing the world through a biologist’s lens. That curiosity will fit nicely here, and if you plan to share more learning-focused posts, hivepro.ai could help you shape drafts quickly while hivestats.io is useful for tracking your Hive growth as you get settled in. Your mention of Kasparov also made me smile — do you have a favorite game or opening you keep coming back to?
