Smile my facial expressions
A smile is frequently considered as just a casual gesture yet the implications of it are more deep and far reaching. On the other hand, a smile can rather embellish conversations, lift people up and build bridges across distances;a smile goes beyond merely showing happiness or friendliness.
If we take a narrower concept of a smile, we would say that it is a language that all human beings can speak. A true smile irrespective of ethnic or linguistic differences has the ability to extend warmth, embrace and comprehension. It encourages others to participate, it take part of the fortresses of hesitation and fosters inclusion. This aspect can serve as an advantage in a multicultural setup where people have to relate to one another for effective work and appreciation.
This process in itself does not only improve the mood of the person smiling but also affects the people around that person. A smile can be contagious that when one smiles, people within the vicinity tend to smile back creating a positive environment or good atmosphere.
In addition to that, looking cheerful also promotes mental health in the long run. Studies have shown that smiling more, even if it is a stretched smile, is good for one’s mental health. This is often termed “facial feedback hypothesis”, a term which stands for the ability of one’s facial expressions to affect one’s emotions. It is therefore possible for someone who is smiling to change their internal state from a negative one to a positive one which creates a beneficial condition for better survival strategies.
In the context of communication, particularly between people, smiling is very important for bonding. It can alleviate strain, express warmth and friendliness, and improve conversation flow. In the workplace, for instance, a friendly donation of the proceeds which is a smile to the employees would result in the promotion of team work leading to enhanced productivity. In this case, a smile encourages closeness and understanding, reinforcing relationships that can face the storms.
Saying that smiling is the central part of being human as a composite whole does not even begin to do it justice. From a boisterous child, and a cheery comrade or partner, to the little one's beaming smile minutes ago, all these are aspects of time captured via smiles. They become most cherished moments, which fills with happiness known only when they are in relation with someone.
To sum it up – a smile is always more than a curve on a person’s face; It’s a therapy of fullness, togetherness and happiness inducing well-being. It’s scope can be felt in one’s purpose living and social relations transgressing effects in people. If only each and everybody would appreciate the usefulness of a smile, there'd be no neglect and everyone would properly relate to one another.
