Remote Engineering/Tech Job opportunity

I have some who is strongly looking for remote tech job opportunities. They were previously contributing to some projects but couldn't continue because of their education but after their education they haven't been able to find projects like that.

The company he worked for employed more people after he left and since he couldn't get back to the job after school. It was a great job, and the company was based overseas and was good for the portfolio.

I'm not a tech guy, but I do a lot of research, and I found a lot of opportunities for this person but so far, none of this jobs has clicked. We've applied through Fiverr, linkedin, and other platforms, but so far we've not got anything positive.

I understand that it's a saturated market, but even as at that many companies are still putting up remote, physical and hybrid opportunities and don't seem to be taking a lot of people, or perhaps they're being selective in the opportunities they're offering.

Also I believe these people/tech companies gets a lot of offer on a daily and they might find it difficult to scrutinize who is qualified or not. The person I'm talking about is qualified, has worked many firms and many other tech gigs as well.

AI is making it difficult

AI is taking over many tech gigs, this is true, Infact most tech companies based in Europe and US are leveraging on AI, paid versions to actually run some of their protocols without needing the help of real people.

However they still need software bros to coordinate their workflow, they still need paid interns, lead engineers and all that. So these opportunities are there, but they're beginning to leverage the paid versions of the likes of GEMINI or CHATGPT to run some of their minor code.

However if a company salary budget is $5M a year for example, with AI this might be reduced to $3 a year, saving a massive $2M in the process.

No company will choose to overpay if they have the easy way out, no matter how much they make in a year, I'll be very impossible for them to choose to overpay.

For example YouTube makes $60B in a year, and maybe pays 20 to 30% of that in revenue for creators, but still they're demonitizing creators for mass producing contents or for low quality.

Also whether a person is monetized or not, YouTube places ads on video where they see traffic and pockets all that.

My point is no company wants to pay, and this is why the likes of CLAUDE PRO will be taking over from tech gigs and tech bros and this will render software engineers jobless.

Not all, but many.

The lead software engineers and the rest are still going to have their own jobs and all that, but over 50% of regular engineers will lose their role, the remaining roles will become too competitive and then becomes saturated.

However, if anyone knows a tech gig for a full stack engineer, I'd like to know, or if they have or know any opportunity that can work out for someone who is a full stack software bro, I'd like to know.

Remote work, yes I agree. I think this is because of over saturation or something like that, but a lot of the work is still available I guess

I think it's tough right now. There is just too many people competing for the jobs, and likes you said, AI is making things work with leess people.

Yes, too many people are competing and it can be hard for many people. I think he will continue to search anyway

$5M to $3M with AI, tech bros, better start coding like your paycheck depends on it.
