The proposal for future space stations.

The proposal for future space stations.

Souce

What you see in the video below is the explosion, it is a test module, an inflatable module from the Sierra Space company and what they did was check how much pressure it could withstand, they inflated it until it literally burst, the structure is made of ultra-resistant fabric and If its creators are so happy, it is because the results exceeded the safety levels recommended by NASA by 27%.

These modules are for building space stations, the advantage of these modules is that they can be sent into space taking up very little space and also having very little weight, but once inflated they provide a large habitat space for astronauts or for laboratory work or even for tourist purposes.

The test module that exploded was more than 6 m high and had a volume of 300 cubic meters. That module alone would be a third of the volume of the international space station. In other words, with only 3 Sierra Space modules we would have the same volume of the E.I.; imagine the space stations of a few years from now will be much more spacious and in the next decade we are going to see several, in the 1930s we are going to see at least one new international space station because the current one is very old and is going To end up being sacrificed, it is already planned to be destroyed by throwing it towards the earth, towards Point Nemo in the South Pacific.

There will also be the Chinese space station and perhaps a Russian space station, it is also almost certain that we will begin to see private stations dedicated to laboratories, factories or space tourism, especially if they use this type of modules that are cheaper, have a large capacity of volume and are easier to send into space.

The future is with space stations, and in January of last year Blue Origin, the aerospace company of Jefs Bezos, the creator of Amazon, announced that it is going to build the first business complex in space and that it would be ready in 2027, with all this panorama It is not surprising that one of the businesses of the future is to build modules for all these space facilities, Sierra Space is committed to this business and is committed to becoming a space shipyard.

Jefs Bezos business space complex in 2027 that's a great thing to think about.

There ought to be a filling station in orbit for space craft for trips to Mars.

Yes, I imagine he will think about that in the future, to help the ongoing missions.
