The mission to study Magnetism.

Every day magnetism is more important in the universe and in our lives, now we are going to have a tool to measure and map magnetism, it is called the IMAP probe, acronym in English for interstellar mapping and acceleration probe. It is a NASA mission that officially began on February 1, although it was launched on September 24, 2025.

This ship has about 10 scientific instruments, it will work for 2 years on its primary mission to map the limits of the Heliosphere, which is the bubble that protects us from cosmic radiation. It might sound a little strange because the solar wind is radiation, the sun gives off solar storms, flares and solar radiation is dangerous, on Mars and Venus it tears off part of the atmosphere when a powerful solar storm comes, but it has a shield factor.

It also works as a shield and protects us from cosmic radiation, which is much more dangerous, the solar wind blows forming that bubble that surrounds everything, it reaches beyond Neptune, it surrounds all the planets, it envelops them, solar radiation is harmful, but that wind of particle radiation from the sun acts as a shield and protects us from the cosmic radiation that comes not only from stars, if it were from stars it would be, nothing would happen, but it also comes from supernova explosions, from hypernovas, from colossal events, from radiation, from black holes that are devouring matter, things that launch molecules and particles and atoms at speeds almost similar to that of light, with tremendous risk and danger, but thanks to the solar wind this shield is formed that protects us from galactic cosmic radiation.
