Space debris on earth.

Space debris on earth.

Souce

Thousands of satellites orbiting the earth, rockets and other devices, what happens to them when they end their useful life, some unfortunately become space debris and remain orbiting our planet for many years, but most end up falling to Earth disintegrating in the atmosphere without causing problems, however, large structures do not completely disintegrate and some fragments end up hitting the surface.

One of those structures that returned from its journey through space, has been found a few days ago on a beach in Australia, it is a cylindrical object between two to three meters high, which according to the media caused mystery and confusion in the Australian authorities, what was it?

It was a bit of a mystery, said Andrea Boid, an engineer at the European space agency, saying “we're pretty sure based on the shape and size that it's an Indian rocket upper stage motor that's used for a lot of different missions,” the engineer said, but beware it wouldn't be from the Sandra Yand 3 mission that launched just a few days ago on July 14.

This object that appeared on the beach has been in the sea for at least several months, as you can see from the marine animals that have grown on its surface, the important thing is that the experts from the Australian space agency have determined that the artifact does not present any danger and they only hope to identify the owner so that he can take charge of its removal.
