Some astronomers maintain that it may be that this void is caused by the existence of a planet that has cleared that entire area, that region, of asteroids and comets, due to these anomalies. In 2014, astronomers Scott Sheppard and Chad Trujillo proposed the existence of a planet that It would be a super-Earth of about two to 15 Earth masses and would orbit beyond the sun at about 200 astronomical units.

And the latest version that was published in the astronomical journal on August 25 by Japanese astronomers and they have joined the data of the observations together with state-of-the-art computer simulations and their conclusion is similar to that of previous researchers, according to them there a planet about 200 astronomical units, but the variation they make is that that planet would be smaller, it would be between one and a half times three times more massive than the Earth, it would be a super-Earth.
