NASA's Plan B to go to the Moon.

NASA's Plan B to go to the Moon.

SpaceX is not doing very well, because it suffered a serious "anomaly", that is what SpaceX has called its accident, it was during a pressure test of gas systems that was carried out on November 21 at the Starbase facilities in Texas, SpaceX is still investigating what happened, but it seems that there was an abnormal over-pressurization in one of the tanks and one failed, these have new engines and they are trying new things and it is logical and on top of that with new things with some gigantic dimensions.

The rocket still remained standing, which, if possible, some things could be recycled and there is no turning back here, so the only way out is to run forward, continue doing more tests, moving forward, because now it is a real race to reach the Moon, and SpaceX has a contract with NASA to create the lunar lander, which may not be the one we see land on the moon and leave NASA astronauts again on the lunar surface.

Because NASA has opted for a plan B, which would be Blue Moon, which is what the lander module is called. Although it seems small, it is also quite large. This would be NASA's plan B and surely the first mission to the Moon within this century would be with one of these, a Blue Moon MK-2, which is complete at the bottom.

The company in charge is that of Jeff Bezos, by the way, competition between millionaires, the lunar lander has the capacity to house four astronauts for up to 30 days in a row on the surface of the Moon, so it would be almost like a mobile base because 30 days is enough for quite a few things and perhaps that is what we will see. It is not planned for Artemis 5, but it depends on how the evolution of the SpaceX lunar lander goes, perhaps they will have to resort to this one.

Even so, I continue to criticize the SpaceX lunar lander because its center of mass is still very high, they would need to make much wider legs, Jeff Bezos's is flatter, it is lower than the SpaceX lunar lander and it would land more easily.

SpaceX has a contract with NASA to build a lunar lander, it has a tremendous capacity, it is much greater than what we have seen from the Blue Moon, but the problem is that this design is tremendous, the center of mass is very high and on the Moon the low gravity makes things fall over very easily, I don't think this would work and there is no landing strip on the moon.

This is how things are, SpaceX has problems, it seems that the next launch would be at the beginning of 2026, and meanwhile, Blue Moon is the lander, and it is doing much better, apparently, because then all these ships, both this one and the other one from SpaceX, we have to see them and soon flying to the moon and landing without a crew, because we have to do a test to know if everything works correctly, we have to see that.

They are missions that are going to happen both in this and in the other, they will be spectacular missions, then we will see if everything works well.
