Gravastars, another object theorized to be black holes.

Black holes are some of the most enigmatic objects in the universe, we all agree, they are capable of deforming the fabric of space - time that surrounds them with so much power that not even light can escape from them due to their gravitational power, But it turns out that some scientists hold an alternative theory about black holes, which are something else, according to new research published at the end of April in the journal Physical Review.

Gravastars are hypothetical astronomical objects that were theorized in 2001 as an alternative to black holes. Their name means "condensed star of gravitational vacuum." The initial proposal was made by Pawel O. Mazur and Emil Mottola and was an alternative proposal to the existence of black holes.

Inside a Gravastar, space-time would be completely stopped by the extreme conditions that exist there, a force would be produced outwards, around that vacuum there would be a bubble in which space itself would behave like a block of matter, the idea It would be comparable to an extreme form of Bose-Einstein condensate, something that these two researchers theorized almost a century ago. According to this theory, space time would be transformed into matter, where protons, neutrons, electrons, Space itself becomes what is called a quantum state creating a super atom, like a block.

This is what is considered so far, the new thing comes from the hand of several researchers including João Luís Rosa, professor of physics at the University of Gdańsk in Poland and who is co-author of the new study, according to him these stars and can be interpreted as stars made from vacuum energy or dark energy, the same type of energy that drives the accelerated expansion of the universe.

The question of all this is how to demonstrate that this is true or at least demonstrate that the Gravestars explain better than what we are seeing, the observations that we are taking the images, everything that we are capturing from these black hole phenomena, because of At the beginning things become more complicated because the Gravestar would have a birth similar to what we know of as a black hole, they would be born in the same way by the collapse of a massive striga and their effects would be very similar to those of a black hole, at least for the calculations that these researchers have made and the simulations that they have also applied with computers and artificial intelligence.

The fundamental difference is that the Gravestars would not have singularities and are believed to be spheres of matter whose stability is maintained thanks to the dark energy contained in them. To discover whether the Gravestars are viable alternatives to black holes, the researcher and his colleagues examined the interaction of particles and radiation with these hypothetical objects and they also applied Einstein's theory

Thegravastar could explain what we see of a black hole, the question is how to differentiate them according to this research there could be subtle differences in the light emitted by the environment of these phenomena, that would be the key, but to achieve that key, according to Luis Rosa for Testing their results experimentally will have to wait for the next generation of observational experiments in gravitational physics to emerge in order to examine what happens up close inside Galaxies and in particular what happens in the core of our own, the Milky Way. .

So gravitational observatories are going to be very important to reveal what black holes are or if they are Gravastar, how they work and what implications they have.

This made me think. Thoughts based mostly on the first image: What if all suns/stars are actually black holes and the orbiting planets are slowly being sucked in because they came too close to it? 🤔

No, you claim several things that are not true.

Until now, not all stars become black holes, everything depends on their mass, if it passes a certain upper limit, it becomes a black hole, if it does not reach a lower limit, the sun turns into a red giant. , then into a white dwarf and then into a planetary nebula.

The question and the enigma is what happens to the suns that are in the lower and upper limits, no one knows, they may become those Gravastars.

The first image is just how the AI interprets the Gravastars.

Thank you
