Imagine being on a Martian base and for two weeks completely losing communication with Earth, it would be a good idea for a science fiction movie with a touch of suspense, but that will happen to all the missions that are on Mars due to the conjunction of the Sun and Mars.
This is a factor that must be taken by all space agencies because it is repeated every 2 years and will be of vital importance with potential risks when we send humans to Mars, all this is a huge problem for NASA, the European space agency, the Emirates Arabs. United and China because all of these have current missions on Mars, the conjunction of the Sun and Mars which is when the sun will be ahead of Mars with respect to us and will not be visible.
This conjunction will begin on November 17 and will last two weeks, which is why it will not be able to communicate with any mission or with any rovers on Mars, and to avoid failures, any activity will be suspended, only the kittens.
During that time, the Perseverance and Curiosity rovers will remain parked, although they will remain active while monitoring changes in the climate and the landscape around them due to the action of the wind. For example, the small ingenuity Mars helicopter drone will remain on the ground and the orbiters . They will continue their work, but saving the data until they can reconnect with the earth once the conjunction ends.
