Earthquakes on Mars.

On Mars and thousands of kilometers away from Perseverance, the Honda Insight has captured the most powerful earthquakes or marsquakes recorded to date would be one of magnitude 42 and another of 4.1.

InSight is a NASA probe specialized in the study of earthquakes and inside the red planet, the InSight mission itself already confirmed a few months ago that Mars has a liquid and metallic core, thanks to the detection of light elements such as sulfur, oxygen or hydrogen.

These two earthquakes are believed to have occurred in the shadow zone of the core, so they are also the furthest detected to date and have strange characteristics such as their duration, the longest lasted 94 minutes.

All these data help to better understand earthquakes on Mars as is the interior of the red planet and discover how its core is more alive than previously thought.
