An exoplanet like the Earth has been discovered, an international team of astronomers led by Melinda Suárez Furtado from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in the United States have detected a planet the size of the Earth that is fine and orbiting a star just like ours sun that is even better, it only has one small problem and that is that it is too close to its star, it is not in the habitable zone, it is in the infernal zone, it is too close to its star.


It is a great find since according to its discoverers, until now Earth-sized exoplanets have been found orbiting red dwarf stars, which are stars much smaller than our sun and also colder, the new planet is called HD 6343d, it is a bit larger than Earth, its radius is only 7.3% larger and it is the third planet found in orbit of its star.


The difference is that its star is much younger, it is only 400 million years old, while the sun is about 4.6 billion years old, the planet orbits its star in just 4.2 days, it is so close that one hemisphere is always looking. to the star, so it is assumed that there is an ocean of lava there, since the temperature reaches 1260 degrees, while the other hemisphere is a perpetual night, there the temperatures could be below zero and it could be an Arctic.

This world is located only 73 light years from our solar system, in the direction of the constellation Ursa Major.
